So now that our dates our set (thanks to all that helped!:goodvibes)
I am moving full steam ahead with the planning phase.
I am trying to voraciously read EVERYTHING EVERYONE has EVER posted about character meals,
because we have never done one in the past.

We are more of a stock up at Trader Joe's and eat Baja Fresh 4 nights in a row kind of family.
Being from an island without either... nor In-N-Out nor Chipotle nor Ikea.
But I digress. :rolleyes1
Sorry.

So I saw someone mention something about using prepaid vouchers for a character meal.
I found the agency that sells them,
but was curious about any feedback that anyone had.
Are they easy to use?
Is there actual savings?
Do you let them know when you make your PS that you are using them?
I am sure that this has been covered a quadrillion number of times, so if someone wants to direct me to another thread to review I would appreciate that, too.

Mahalo!

Some sites do offer savings. Vouchers do include tax and tip. We have used GAT and had a savings and AAA had a savings off of the Disney site.
You do not have to mention the vouchers when you make your ressies.
My only recommendation is if going to Lilo and Stitch and plan on ordering off of the menu instead of the buffet, it is more expensive to have the vouchers.
They are very easy to use. We actually just picked ours up yesterday from AAA for our trip in 2 weeks!!

I prefer Ares over GAT, they'll definitely save you $$ at Goofy's & Ariel's but might not at the others (we save 10% with our AP) When you make your PS ask for the prices that way you'll know if the voucher is the better deal. They are very easy to use - no you don't need to mention that you'll be using a voucher when you make your PS. Even if they don't save $$ so long as they don't cost more than paying there I do prefer to have the pre paid voucher. I also use Disney Gift Cards as a form of "pre payment" ~ since I bought the GC 3 months or a year before the trip that meal is already paid for.

Thanks ballarinamom and disneymomma81!
I will definitely double check on the prices and everything before I purchase,
but I think that might be the way to go for us.
I like that I can pay for things before we go...
that way we don't have collective heart failure paying for everything at once!:rotfl:
Mahalo!
