Prepaid gift card at Disney

Our granddaughter is heading to Disneyworld with a school group. We want to give her money for meals etc. but I don't think giving her cash is the best idea. I was thinking of buying her a prepaid gift card. Will the resorts accept a prepaid Visa gift card at the restaurants and gift shops?

Agreed. Make sure you give her two. One empty one and one with money. Both should be registered with disneygiftcard.com so that if she loses the one with money, she can call you and you can move the funds over to the second one.

My daughter took some cash and a Disney gift card and a prepaid Visa card on her trip. Most of the trip was offsite from Disney but they spent a day at Disney. She loved having the prepaid visa for most of her spending. She said it was so easy compared to cash. She did use the Disney card for the most part there but the visa for her food I think (she wanted to save the Disney card for our summer trip and not “waste” it on food lol.
