Ok,

So where the heck can you get one of these?

I went to Walgreens today, the one that they sell doesn't let you confirm your address, so then I went to CVS, it didn't say on the outside of the package that you couldn't so I bought it...nice...spent $54.95 and now I can't use it since you can't link the address stuff...FRUSTRATING.

Do you know if all of the sites require it to be confirmed with your address?

The cheapest and best one to get is one from Simon Malls http://www.simon.com/giftcard/ The cost is only $2 and it will have your billing info attached. You can also purchase one at a Simon Mall (if there is one in your area.) They have virtual cards or actual plastic cards.

I recently received a Master Card from Obopay.com

I have been using it for all my trial offers and love it. It is registered under your name/address just like a regular credit card. Obopay is a lot like Paypal, but you can do a lot through your cell phone. You can link it to your bank account (like Paypal) and put as much money as you want on your Obopay Mastercard.

The site is obopay.com and you will need a cell phone to sign up. There is an automated system that will call the phone to verify it is a real number. Once you sign up, find the option to receive an Obopay Mastercard. It is a really simple sign up process. It will take about 2 weeks to get the card but it is worth it!

They must sell different ones in different areas. Because the one that I looked at specifically said that you could not use them online when address verification was necessary!

This is what I am thinking about doing. I am looking for something that I can have NOW...when I looked at the virtual cards it sounded like it was a debit card, does that make a difference? With the virtual cards I am assuming that I can go to their website and have the card within minutes right?!?

Ok, so I went on and did one of the virtual cards...I think they might become my new best friend!! I just did a $25 one to start out with...they say that it should be e-mailed by tomorrow...I hope sooner!

I am just thinking that these might be the best bet with the credit card offers...I don't mind using the PayPal Virtual Card, but man, I have like 5 PayPal transactions a day and it is killing me (not to mention my DH might )...so this will be easier. And less tracking when it comes to them trying to RECHARGE me after I cancelled!

I use the simon gift card! It works great I did six offers with it yesterday no problems. I tried to buy another one yesterday (since the one I got only has about 20 dollars left) but for some reason the site wouldn't let me said it was having problems. I'll try again today!

Well I lucked out and mine was e-mailed today!! So tonight I am going to go and start filling out my stuff! I have looked and I should make $125 in offers on my $25 card!

What happens if a company tries to charge you after you cancled a memberhip if you don't have enough money left on the card? Two of the trial offers I signed up for charged my credit card but when I call the companies they say they have no record of any of my info and insist I wasn't charged. I can't sign in with my member info either. I know I'm going to start getting monthly charges soon and it's going to be a pain to cancle the accounts. Does this happen often? If I get a virtual cc with a $$ limit can they charge the account I bought the virtual card with? Thanks.

Thanks for the info. I am also going to cancle my sign ups also. I just wasn't sure what would happen if they were not cancled as promised or if they couldn't find my info. I hope if I keep calling someone will be able to help me!

I have read on the treasure trooper boards that the paid offers you sign up for can and do send you a bill if the credit card info is invalid. So if you run out of money on your prepaid card, they bill it and it's declined they will send you an invoice. Always important to cancel everything and keep record just in case you need to call someone in the future to prove you canceled!
