I just thought some of you might want to see a premium site (828) where we had a 42' motorhome, 3 tents and a golf cart!

We satayed on a premium campsite last time we were there and I always thought for the price differnts I wouldn't like them much... I was wrong! I liked the extra long pavement and the table. We even were able to put up a tent. Thanks for sharing your picture

It's nice to see they exist!! We've stayed on 3 different premium sites with our 44' motorhome, and not one of them could have accommodated even a small tent in addition to the MH. On one site we had trouble fitting our car. In addition to those 3, we were assigned one last year that we rejected because we could barely fit the motorhome into it. DH could easily have maneuvered INTO the site, but we couldn't have used the picnic table or fit even the smallest of cars. All premium sites are not created equal.

Are you sure you aren't thinking of preferred not premium?

Hi!
Was the 800 loop an easy walk to Trading Post, Marina, Restaurant. I just booked and they suggested 200-300 Loop with our 40' RV and after reading blogs this weekend, I'm going to ask for a change. Also, was it close to CS?

Take a peek on the map HERE

800 is pretty close the the Meadows Trading Post, but a bit of a walk from the Settlement/Marina area.

Also, 800 is a Premium loop, while 100, 200 & 300 are Preferred (300 is pet). You'll want to make sure that the area you want to be in coincides with what class of site you're booking.

Also, was it close to CS?

Counter service? There is a snack bar at the Meadows that is technically CS as far as the dining plan goes, but it's only open limited hours - when we were there in November it was open from about noon to 5pm. There is no true full-time CS location at FW.
