I'm thinking about doing a solo trip next May. I'd like to make the trip different though. I usually do alot of TS meals (which I enjoy). I was thinking about trying to do a whole week of trying out CS meals though. If I did, I would go with the new CS DDP. However, I've seen a few comments here and there about the Premium Plan. What is it exactly and how much does it cost? It supposedly includes three meals a day, but does it differentiate between a regular TS and a Signature restaurant, like the regular DDPs. Also is there a limit to the recreational activities (or could you go on a couple of tours a day and maybe see the Cirque de Soleil show twice, if you wanted)? Could I use the ski raycers everyday if I wanted and would I have a time limit on them? It wouldn't leave much time for park time, I know, but it sounds like it might be a fun vacation. I've done the regular DDP multiple times and have also done the DxDDP. I am just curious if the Premium Plan would be worth it for a solo traveler or if I should give the CS DDP a try, in order to try some CS I've never tried. According to the WDW site, the difference between the two would be about $1000.00, but it doesn't really say exactly how much each plan is and I can't tell if the Signature restaurants take two credits with the Premium plan or if all restaurants are just lumped together.

The 2008 rate is $149/adult.

So unlimited tours, one Cirque, unlimited ski raycers, etc. I'm not sure on signatures but it looks like they count the same as any other TS.

Premium package is approx $150/person/night.
All meals cost 1 credit, whether they are signature, CS, regular TS, dinner show, or room service.
There is no limit on the amount of tours and recreation you use. We have spend 4 hours plus in one day doing parasaling, jet skis, and water mice. For our Oct trip on plat (same applies for premium in this situation) we have a tour scheduled for nearly every day. I think the only limit may be with Cirque - I think you only get 1 ticket per person.

Let me know if you have any other questions - we've almost exclusively used plat or premium (or previous incarnations) for every trip. This is our last trip on plat since we bought DVC and premium and plat aren't available as addons at DVC (fingers crossed for making them available in the future). DVC will save us money in the long run on the cost of the room so it won't be a big deal to put the rest of our fun on the room charge, but I'll still miss it anyway.
