Hey Everyone,
I am taking the family to Disneyland in October and I am thinking of upgrading my park hopper to a premium pass so i can get some of the discounts. Does anyone know if I will be eligible for the 10% discount on Disney merchandise because on the web page it makes it seem like you have to live in a certain zip code

Most Theme Park and Hotel merchandise locations*
* Residents living in zip code areas 90000-93599

Thanks
DC

I am not sure where on the site you are reading that, but the Premium pass is good for anyone, no matter where you live, and includes a merchandise discount for everyone that has it. :goodvibes

Yes, read my post above, I explained the issue with the asterisks.

If you are buying one premium AP just for the discounts, make sure you do the math on what you expect to buy at the parks through the year. For example, you would have to spend $1400 in merchandise to break even with the price difference between deluxe and premium. You get 5% extra off on food at some places so that means you can spend a little less on merchandise. Anyway, do the math first for your family. For our family it isn't worth it. The main value of the premium is in having no block out days.

Yes, we did the math and found out it would still be cheaper for our family to go with the deluxe AP and add parking to one pass instead of one person getting PAP.
