Premium Magic Bands

Question regarding magic bands.... I see that I can have magic bands sent to be right now for my upcoming trip (although seems odd that I have the option given everything going on). But, even when I booked back in April, there were NO premium magic bands to choose from. Is this always the case, or are they just down right now due to the parks being closed? I would love to get a premium one, so I'm wondering if they will even be available by my trip.

We have had last minute trips where no premium bands are available. I have had to stalk the magic bands on app several trips to try to get both kids what they want, only for one to sell out before I can confirm them all. I have gone online several times and just ordered the bands we wanted( not through our reservation.) I have had luck finding the ones I want on shopdisney and even on eBay, then at the resort they link them for us.......only downside,they then don't have your name on them. Have a great trip!

Premium magic bands haven’t been available since the resorts were shut down in March. No one knows if or when they will come back.
