Premium AP Merch Discount Reduced to 10%

Doubtful...they treat the PP as a PAP at WDW, so the discount would match whatever the PAP gets.

Anyone know if the discount wth the Premier Passport that allows access to WDW and DL remains 20%?

The Premier Passport discount isn't a set number; it matches the discount of the Premium Annual Passport, so it'll be 10% or whatever the discount, if any, turns out to be.

That stinks. My spouse & I spent $800 each on the Passport & partially justified it by the savings we get on the discount. We will not be getting this expensive AP again.

Well that sucks. I only purchase the premium pass for that discount. Guess I wont be getting the premium but the annual now. Thanks for the heads up.

Yeah, that kind of irritated me. I should have known that the deal was too good to be true.

I had just purchased the premium AP with the DVC rate a couple weeks ago. And I had heard the rumors of the discount reduction, so I made sure I bought everything I wanted before the discount went down.

The funny thing is, I knew in October that there were things I wanted to buy, but I deliberately waited until December to get the better discount than the 10% standard AP discount.

I think I might need to write to the WDW Guest Relations email to inform them that I spent more on souvenirs in December than my three previous trips after purchasing my Premium AP than I had with the standard AP, solely for the better discount rate. I will let them know that I will return to my usual lackluster spending now that my discount went back to what I'm used to seeing. It probably won't do much, but Disney should be aware of the impact the discount perk had. I'd rather give up the DisneyQuest admission than the shopping discount.

Good idea! I'd planned on doing a bunch of shopping during my January trip with my new, bigger discount. Now that I don't have one, I don't need to go spending as much anymore. I guess it's good that they're saving me money on souvenirs? :confused3
