Just a few quick questions on the Premiere Pass. They say valet parking has blackout dates and is subject to availability. Does anyone know if they are days like the 4th of July and Christmas or periods like July 1-10 and Dec 20-31? Are you turned away if it is too busy with paying nonpass holders? Also, if I walk into a ride with my wife after 4pm and show my Premiere Pass will they let my wife in with me or does she also need a pass? Finally, do they have a renewal price? All I saw on the US site was the yearly rate for new buyers. Thanks.

i don't have the answers to your question but i would think inkkognito would know about that.

she goes to universal a lot and is a premier pass holder.

For FOTL, the Premier Pass is only good for the passholder. If you're with someone who doesn't have one, they're out of luck. Each person has to show it to be allowed into the Express Lane.

As for valet, I know it's supposed to be blacked out for special events but so far we've been using it for HHN with no problems...maybe because we arrived before the park closes? However, valet does fill and you would be turned away if that happened no matter what night it would be.

Dunno about the renewal price because it's been a while since we renewed ours. We find 'em to be worth every penny!

Sounds like it's not really worth it unless you live close enough to use it a lot. For an extra $400 2 passes would cost we can walk. Thanks for the info :)

Yeah, definitely more of a value for locals. For us, it's easy to just pop over to the park by 4 p.m. Usually we come a little early and have an early dinner at CityWalk, then head over to the parks. Only change I wish they'd make is to move the start time an hour or two earlier when the parks close early.

Valet is worth its weight in gold and they've never refused to let us use it for either HHN or Mardi Gras. I'd be lost if I actually had to hike from the garage! The free HHN tickets are great too since they're upgradable to Frequent Fear, although this year that cost twice what it did last year...still a bargain.

It may sound funny, but the free water comes in handy too. It wasn't really an enticement to get the pass, but we always carry the coupons and we definitely end up using 'em.

But if you're not planning to come an average of a few times a month, you're probably better off with one of the other options.
