Premier pass renewal cost?

I'm sure these are very easy questions for someone....just not me.

I know the preferred pass has a huge discount from the initial price when you renew and my questions are:

What is the renewal cost for the premier pass...is there a similar savings?
and...
Have they historically offered renewals at such a comparatively low cost? I'm wondering if I could count on renewing a pass bought now at a similar cost.

Thanks,
Pax

pax, i suggest you call the ap hotline.
also check out the ap site to receive accurate info on your questions.

I don't recall our premier renewal rate, but I do know it was not at a substantial discount.

Wasn't it something like $185 or $190? It's only about $30.00 or so off the regular price I thought. :confused3

I was afraid it'd be a much smaller discount. Can't blame a guy for hoping, right?

I'd still be interested in a more precise figure though. I may have phrased the OP poorly....I don't yet have a pass....so I can't access the members site, and I couldn't find a hotline (presumably this is given to pass holders). If someone called and found out for me I'd be thrilled.

Trying to weigh all the info to decide which type of pass to purchase.

Thanks again for the assist!

You are correct with the 190 part, the Premier Pass renewal is $189.99.

However, a new Premier Pass costs $289.99, so it is a $100 discount.

I insisted on renewing ours for two years rather than one (was afraid they might discontinue it!) so that might have affected our renewal rate. I'll have to ask hubby if we did get a discount.

The discounted renewal has only been offered for around.... 6 months? or so. so you may or may not have gotten it.

More of a discount than I thought.

Wow I'm talkative this week...

...and I have another question.

Do you get another HHN ticket voucher when you renew each year?

Thanks,

Pax

Yes, you get 'em every year and you can upgrade them to Frequent Fear for a small amount.

Since we renewed for two years, we got four for 2008. It's going to be an interesting time at Guest Services getting the remaining two switched to 2009.

I wanted to add, the Preferred AP's can be renewed and you get 3 months free, the Premier AP is for One calender year only...

Unless that's changed since I last checked.

i believe the free hhn ticket for is for a non peak night on the premiere passes.

laura, yup, that special is still going for the preferred annual passes.

sweet.......:goodvibes

Yes, definitely for a non-peak (which was fine with us, especially since we discovered that we could do the upgrade).

Do you by any chance know roughly how much they charge to upgrade the free ticket to a Frequent Fear pass?

Is this the norm or was it a promotion. Our passes expire in October so we are thinking of renewing them.
