Pregnant Women Restrictions

Our daughter will be 6 months pregnant on our Disney World trip in June. Is there a list somewhere of ride restrictions for pregnant women??

The best suggestion would be to ask her doctor what she can and cannot ride. Most "herky-jerky" rides should be off limit.

As I'm taking a sixth month pregnant wife to Disney in June, I've researched this with a fervor. Here's two links that should help you!

The ride guidelines are posted at each ride. Most of it is basic stuff (example: Space Mountain's not a good place for a pregnant women to be). There's some questionable rides (Pirates OC comes to mind) where a little research will tell you it's probably ok, but there's too much in Disney to do without taking risks. You'll find much in those links of what not to do, but also use a little common sense. And before you go, have your daughter talk to her OB, tell them where she's going, and have them make suggestions.

In addition to what the doctors say and what the"guidelines" say if she has been to WDW before it ends up being all common sense. I just got back and I am 5 1/2 months pregnant. I knew what I could do and what I couldn't without even looking at the signs or reading anything before hand. As long as she uses her head she'll be fine.

Depends on the specific pregnancy in question. Six months gone is far enough along to have issues with the gravitational forces acting on the weight of the fetus itself. A perfectly healthy pregnancy is likely to draw fewer warnings than one with certain types of expected complications. This issue is between the mother and her OB. The odds are that her OB has been to WDW, and will be able to give very specific advice.
