I know the cut off to cruise is fairly early in pregnancy, does anyone know which week is the cut off. I think I may have talked DH into taking a cruise in a couple of weeks, but I forget how pregnant you are allowed to be.

Thanks for any help!
Christy

They won't let you board if you are past your 23rd week. From the DCL website:

Women who have entered their 24th week of pregnancy as of their embarkation date will be refused passage due to safety concerns. Neither a physician's medical statement nor a waiver of liability will be accepted. In addition, Disney Cruise Line cannot be held responsible or liable for any complications relating to pregnancy at any stage.

Oh, and congratulations!

Thanks, I guess being pregnant is making me crazy. I looked all over the site for that info, but never found it. I will be in there clear and almost 18 weeks. Now hopefully DH was just agreeing to get me to shut up:p

Thanks for the congrats. We are very excited about the birth of baby #2.

How do you prove you are not yet into the 24th week? Do you need a doctor's note?
We are planning on trying for a new baby, but we have already booked a cruise. If all goes as planned ;) I will be 23 and 5/7th weeks along the day we get on the ship!

Please tell me Mickey will let me go:confused:

happydisfamilyof4 - yes, you will need a Dr's note proving that you aren't in your 24th week of pregnancy to be able to board. If you do not have that note, and DCL even suspects that you are close to your 24th week, they will deny you boarding.

My DH and I are hoping to be in that situation on next year's trip. He asked me last night how they would know if you are preg are not. Like he said, "Who's going to ask 'are you pregnant?'" Can you imagine if the guest wasn't??? But seriously, there are lots of good reasons why you should be completely honest about your dates. A friend who travelled while pregnant was advised to carry her records on the pregnancy with her on her trips. I'd imagine the same would apply here... even if they don't need all of it, it couldn't hurt to have them with you just in case.

My wife will be 23 wks when we cruise in Oct. Disney faxed us a medical release form to have signed by her doctor when they sent us our initial booking information. If you call their booking number (or your travel agent), they should be able to fax it to you. We are taking ours with us at check-in--better safe than sorry!
