Hi all
This is mt first time to post here and would really appreciate your help.
I will be off to DLRP in three weeks time. A friend who is travelling with me
will be three months pregnant at the time and is worried about which rides to avoid. She is also worried about the long days we most probably will have.
I'd really appreciate any advice you could give. She is also worried about the weather :umbrella: . She is from the Philippines and really feels the cold. We are thinking about bringing a small warm blanket for watching parades and such when we are sitting around. Any practical advice you can give regarding any of the above. Sorry about all of the questions and thanks in advance.

Hello SM Mission II - welcome to the DIS!! :wave2:

Here is a recent thread about which rides may or may not be suitable for pregnant women. Obviously your friend should avoid the rides which specifically state she should not ride, but the ones like Pirates and Small World are more of a personal choice, I think. If it's alright with you, this sounds like a good opportunity for you both to have a really relaxing visit to DLP - lots of rest stops and plenty of opportunity just to take in and appreciate the amazing detail of the place.

It will probably be COLD, and the advice is wrap up warm with layers. Always bring a hat and gloves, and thermals are small and light to pack, and often essential. Your blanket idea sounds like very good one. :flower:

Thanks very much Becky!!! :)
Reading that thread makes things an awful lot easier.
