I'm off to Disney at the end of May and I am sooooo excited! However, I've just found out I'm pregnant! While I'm over the moon, I realise it will change a few things.

By the time I go, I'll be 23 weeks (nearly six months). My husband is a big rollercoaster fan and will still want to ride the bigger rides. Does anyone know what rides I cannot do and which have a single rider line for hubby?

Any other suggestions would be welcome (though we can't change the dates and go earlier/later. It's now or never.)

Just time for a quick reply -
Follow the link in my signature or look near the top of this board for the disABILITIES FAQs thread. One of the posts on page 2 of that thread contains a list of attractions with warnings.

First - Congrats :goodvibes
I would think that all thrill rides will be off the list for you. Rides that are not for you will have a warning about pregnancy. You can still get fastpasses for the rides your hubby wants to ride and then he can use both of them. And a good touring plan to reduce wait times in lines will help you both out.
I would also encourage you to be sure to drink plenty of water and to rest during the day. While your hubby rides something you can't, you could have a seat and get some water and rest, maybe even use another chair to prop your feet up with.
know your limits and even though you are really wanting to spend time in the parks, if you need to go to your room to rest be sure to stop and go. The safety of your and your child is not worth an extra hour or two in the park.
There is still going to be so much for you to do and for you and your hubby to do together. Also, an added bonus is you should be showing well by then so you will be able to get a lot of cute photos wit hcharacters and such to show the baby one day.

I think the family boards might be a more appropriate place for this. Lots of people over there that have done Disney pregnant.

I realise that. As I said, I didn't know where to post it.

You don't have to worry sueM in MN posted on this thread so you don't have to worry. If she felt it was the wrong forum she would have moved it plus this is the best forum on the disboards with the best moderator so you can keep it here or repost on the family forum. You may get more answers that way and find different question to ask in either thread.

Thanks David.

The attraction list has been a big help. Does anyone have a similar one for Universal or IoA?

Your welcome only tip I have is for test track not sure you want to donut or your hubby but if you use the single rider line their it skips the part you can design your car. Not sure if that matters but wanted you to know Disney knows about it and might change it because the fast pass line skip it to I haven't been on it yet but that one of the complaints about the new one.

You also be able to go on you story mania not sure you want to but I know that a question I heard before asked.

I don't know the specific warnings for rides but close to all of the attractions will have a warning. I couldn't even ride the merry go round one yr at the fair. Lol disney and othe theme parks just give warnings and you use your discretion. I have done theme parks early middle and very late in my pregnancies before. I just avoid the coasters. The other fun rides I do. Congrats on your pregnancy and hope you have a magical trip.

If you want this moved I believe you can just private message a moderator and they'll do it for you. In the meantime if you just click through the first few pages of the family boards you'll see lots of people talking about doing disney pregnant.

I can move it if you want, but your specific questions about warnings were actually best asked here (I'm usually the one who gives a factual list on the other boards anyway).

You may want to just look around on the Family Board or post a question asking for hints there.

I don't have a nice list of rides with warnings for Universal like I do for Disney World, but if you use this link to the Universal Rider's Guide, you will find the information for each attraction.

http://www.universalorlando.com/Images/RidersGuideUpdateFlyer_tcm13-10940.pdf

As you will see, Universal has warningś on most attractions.

I went to Disneyworld 6 months pregnant with #4. Surprise! Had trip planned before finding out...

I was fine, rode just about all the rides. I asked my DR before the trip, he said not to worry about it too much, Disney rides are not too intense. I have always ridden everything. I know I did Space Mountain. (it was before Everest, and maybe even before Rock n Roller, they might be too much).

But everyone has to do what is best for them, this was my 4th, and I was not too nervous about anything, others would make other choices.
