Pregnant at Disneyland/Thanksgivng

My husband and I were thinking of going to Disneyland on Thanksgiving Day. The one issue I have is I will be about 32 weeks pregnant. I know it may sound crazy, but I know there are some attractions (i.e. Jungle Cruise) that I can ride and I do love the decorations for the season. So I have a few questions for all of you experts:
1. Is the park crowded on Thanksgiving Day?

2. What would be the best place to eat a traditional meal?

3. What would be fun for a pregnant gal????

From what I have gathered people saying Thanksgiving day should be pretty crowded. I've never been right on Thanksgiving Day, so I can't really say that from my own experience.

I think you should still be able to enjoy things as far as being pregnant goes... maybe all the crowds will be at the big wild rides and you can enjoy the calmer and gentler rides to yourself? (Yeah, wishful thinking!)

Expect Disneyland to be very crowded, as a lot of people take advantage of the 4-day weekend to come to Disneyland.

I think that the Storyteller Cafe at the Grand Californian Hotel has a very nice Thanksgiving Dinner. At least, they did two years ago. You will need to make priority seating arrangements. I also like the atmosphere there for Thanksgiving.

There are so many fun things to do. Just stay away from the mountain & coaster rides, and jerky rides like Star Tours. See Aladdin the Musical - it's a great show.

It will be crowded, but you'll live and being there with the holiday decorations is so worth it.

The only rides you can't ride are the biggies and Atopia. Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Indiana, Star Tours, Matterhorn. Basically anything a baby/toddler can go on (except Atopia) you can go on.

When you say traditional meal, do you mean traditional Thanksgiving meal like Turkey and stuffing. I think the closest you'll come to that at DL is Turkey legs back by Its a small world. -- You can try to go over to Mimis cafe though for a traditional Thanksgiving meal. It's walking distance to DL, by the 'good neighbor' hotels. I think they require reservations for Thanksgiving dinner (at least the one up here does).

the disneyland hotel has a great thanksgiving buffet but you have to make reservations for it and if you want to do it I would suggest making them now!...its in the Grand Ballroom and they decorate it up so fabulously..as usual our fantastic DIS boards have info on this and ive sent you the link below...it also shows other places that are serving dinner as well..I would highly suggest the Grand Ballroom one if possible...Ive done it and also the easter and Mothers Day brunch there...loved it!

Thanks for all the great info so far! This my first time finding my way to these boards and they are great. Thanks for the link disneegrl4eva. It gave a good run down of my options and I'm sure I wouldn't have found it on my own I think the Storyteller Cafe looks good, so I just made a reservation there(thanks Mary Jo!) You guys are awesome!!!

All three of my kids are always happy to tell people the first time they went to DL/WDW was in Mom's stomach! Way to start your baby off on the right foot!!!

Obviously, stay hydrated, and take care of yourself. If I were you, I'd bring light snacks, so you can have a quick snack without waiting in a long line. Relaxed and enjoy the sights and sounds of the holiday...and don't forget to buy baby's first DL souvie!!!
