Hi! So as the title says - I just found out we are expecting our first baby! When I get to Disney I will be around 7 weeks pregnant.. so this obviously changes our plans a bit..
I won't be able to go on any rides will I.....??! :( We have a fast pass for Kilimanjaro Safari & Test track ( I know that Test Track will be out of the question)

We were booked to stay at AoA in a mermaid room but I am now contemplating ringing Disney Customer service to see if we can change our hotel to a deluxe one closer to Magical Kingdom just for comforts sake after all the walking around during our two days in the parks.

Any advice is more than welcome!

I've been pregnant twice at Disney World :) The first time I was about 6 months along and felt fine (I had a 4 year old and a 2 year old with me too as well as my husband.) I didn't do any huge coasters but the safari would be fine and I personally would do Test Track pregnant as well if I could get into the seat comfortably which you will be able to at that stage of course. ;)
The second time I was pregnant with #4 and I was probably 7 months along? This was a harder pregnancy and I did use a wheel chair for Magic Kingdom and Epcot (with my 5 year old on my lap half the time!). Also a really great trip!
Rest when you need to and remember you can always rent a wheel chair if you are exhausted-it is really no big deal. There is something kind of magical about being pregnant at Disney :) Enjoy every minute and congratulations!!pixiedust:

I believe a lot of the rides at Disney are considered pregnancy friendly. Of course it's always at your own discretion for what you would feel comfortable doing, so always take your own feelings as first priority. I think they have a section in their website or something that lists the rides that they consider pregnancy friendly 100%. Congrats and good luck!

Well, I was 7 weeks pregnant on our last Disney trip but didn't know it yet! I rode Everest and Test Track, no issues. If I had known I might not have gone on them though. Kilimanjaro Safaris I would still go on if pregnant, I don't see any reason to skip it. It probably will depend on if you are sick or not. I luckily had no symptoms to make me think I was pregnant except being tired which I just thought was normal lol.

Congratulations!! My husband and I are planning on having kids next year, and are already thinking about heading down to Disney next October for the F&WF and the Halloween celebrations. Most of Disney is very pregnancy-friendly, except for the thrill rides of course. The only thing I would be worried about is Zika down in Florida. I know that Disney does their best to keep mosquitos at bay (I honestly don't think I've ever had a mosquito bite while down there), but it's one thing to keep in mind. Congrats again!

I don't know much about being pregnant and getting between resorts and the parks, but I used to work attractions at a non-Disney theme park and can answer some questions.

When it comes to rides and pregnancy, all the information should be posted at the front entrance of the rides. It's also available on Disney's website.

In general, anything that moves slowly (<10 mph) and does not have a lap-bar or shoulder harness is probably ok. Anything with sudden movements or where you might fall (carousel) should be avoided. I would also avoid anything too bumpy, not as much for the baby but for you. At 7 weeks morning sickness is probably going to be bad.
