Pregnancy surprise help needed fast!!! Update Post #51 and #95!

Congrats!! I am very excited to here about your wonderful news!! Keep us posted. Now I want to wait to get pregnant until Aug/Sept so I can have Mickey tell my husband that he will have another baby. Have fun in Disney and try not to get too sick  !!!

I like the ideas on here. I would just buy a baby item and give it to him or have a waiter/character give it to him.

Hope all goes well.

What about getting Mickey ears and having them embroidered with your kids names and Baby "first initial of last name" and give DH the bag and tell him to hand them out to the kids. Just make sure the baby one is on the bottom so he'll get to it last. When I was preg with DD6, DH got me one with "Baby M" on it and I layed down and put it on my protruding belly and took a picture (DD loves knowing that it was her first trip to WDW!)

BTW- I just took a test on 5/16 too and it's a Big Fat Positive! I couldn't wait to tell DH in a cool, fun way...It's been a year and a half of trying so I just couldn't contain myself for even a minute let alone a whole day til he came home. I'm such a horrible secret keeper under normal circumstances and this was just too much- Kudos to you for keeping it under wraps to do it in a special way! Have fun whatever you decide! And good luck during your pregnancy.

Congratulations to you too!!!! I wouldn't have been able to wait either, after that long!;)

Just wanted to drop by and tell you congratulations sweetie!! :cheer2:

You've gotten some really great ideas on here! I can't wait to hear your husband's reaction!!

Send some baby dust my way. We lost an angel back in February and we're heading down to MK on the baby's due date. I hoping to be pregnant again by then!

congrats! I cannot WAIT to hear how this turns out!

Oh I love surprises! and I love babies! OHH !! :)!

Sending you so much baby dust!!! I'm sorry about your angel, but it's funny you are going on the due date...we are leaving for our next trip on the day my daughter passed away. It's been 11 years and I thought, if she was here, she'd want to go to Disney World.

Have a great time and hope you see your BFP!

Wow! What a day it has been! I got up this morning at 5:30 to test again before anyone got up, just to quadruple check;) and I was going back and forth with everyone's ideas. I really had no idea which one I was going to use, only that it was going to be today.

We got to the Magic Kingdom and I kept looking around and thinking and around 10:15, my DH and DS went on the Barnstormer and when they were getting off, the Dream Team was there handing out Mickey Ears to everyone. When he came back and showed me, I knew what I wanted to do. Everywhere we went, I kept looking for someone from the DT and finally happened upon 2 female DT'ers in their 20's. I asked them if it would be possible to set up a special "wish" for my husband and they went crazy!!!

They were doing a special meet and greet with Cinderella and marked us down for 2 time slots and told me what time to be there. When we got there around 1:15, we went into the room and started talking to Cinderella. As this was going on, one of the DT girls bust into the room and says she has a special package from Mickey Mouse. They told my DH to go ahead and open it.

Inside the box was a tiny yellow Winnie the Pooh onesie and Mickey ears that said "Baby's first ears". He started to hand it to my youngest son and we told him to read what it said in the box.

It said "Gosh! Congratulations on your new baby! Ha-Ha! Your Pal, Mickey Mouse"

He read it and it took about 2 minutes to register. I said do you understand what it means? Finally, he understood and got up so fast and kissed me and held me so tight. Everyone in the room was crying, except my 2 boys. It was amazing! Then I presented my boys with Mickey ears that said "Big Brother" on them! Of course they didn't care:rotfl2: , but that's ok.

Anyway, that's how it happened....the Dream Team was wonderful and I couldn't thank them enough for what they did.

You all have been wonderful too and I appreciate all of your support with this. It really was so much fun!

WOW!! I have goosebumps. How sweet, I almost cried reading what the DT did! How awesome that was! It will definatly be a way to remember it! Congrats again!:cheer2:

May you have continued health and happiness.
