One thing to consider is if you really want to tell your kids this early. I miscarried before DD5 was born, and she was a high risk pregnancy and was born 6 weeks early. We didn't tell DD8 (who was not quite 3 when we found out I was pregnant) until the first trimester had passed in case I miscarried again. I don't mean to put a damper on your joy, so plesae don't take it that way, but little kids have a hard time understanding when things don't go as planned. Since you have a history of high risk pregnancies, I just bring it up as a consideration in case you wanted to consider a more private announcment for your husband.Have the waiter/waitress bring his beer (or whatever he is drinking) in a baby bottle.
