Pregnancy Pictures?

Hello Out there!

i was just wondering if anyone out there had taken any pregnancy photos during their time being pregnant? My DH booked me a session for my 8th month and I was just wondering what you all thought of yours? I am super excited and am also looking to have them done with each member of our family. (one with me and DH, me and DD, me and DS)

I have seen some beautiful professional pregnancy pictures. Personally, I would rather take them at home with the husband, but the professional ones are wonderful for those that are comfortable with doing that.

You gonna share when you get the pictures back?

I did them with DD6 around 7 months, I figured I was big enough to look really pregnant but not so big that I was miserable and swollen looking! They came out beautiful. I went to picture people and basically told them what I wanted. DH posed with me for all of them. We did 4 poses. One in particular we get compliments all the time. I have on a floral long dress, looking down and my belly and DH is sitting in front of me on a stool kissing the belly. We did a pose in jeans, back to back and also with my back, facing his front. We had on button down white shirts, mine was open at the belly and DH had his hands on it.

I planned to do the pics for each pregnancy but never followed through. We got one blown up and matted in a pink frame and everyone signed it at my baby shower. So far, no one has asked why we didn't do it for the others.

When I get home, I will try to post them.

I've seen some that are just beautiful. I got some done but I don't think mine turned out that great - I think I just look fat! Anywho - did get one really sweet pic of my DH and I with DS kissing my belly (not a bare belly!) and my son's eye's are closed.

Thanks everyone for the responses! i'm getting really excited about doing them! I had wanted to with my last pregnancy, but thought of the idea a bit too late! haha! so now i really knew what i wanted and DH booked the photographer!

I really want them professionally done and will be doing Black & Whites. I want to do the artistic shots, with the belly exposed and such. I'm open to pretty much anything!

I heard about these when I was pregnant with my DS, but I hated the way I looked. I looked really fat. But I have seen some beautiful ones.

God, no! I'm not a huge fan of "posed" photos anyway (weddings, kids, pregnancy, whatever) - but by the time I was big enough for the pictures to be "nice," my stomach was decidedly NOT nice looking!

I've seen some nice ones, but it's not something I would do.

I would have loved my sister to do this when she was PG with the twins. She was pretty big by her 8th month and when I see the candid shots now it amazes me that she was that big.

Hey girl!! I love my pics, i have a few up on the walls. Did mine in the 8th month too, I sure looked cute

I wish i had a scanner to show you, but here is a link to my close friends photog site, and look at newborn/maternity ... all the prego girls are my girlfriends, maybe give you some ideas.

ps i use the dial up instead of flash works faster all the music seems to slow it up a bit lol

go under connections too and there are family shots of my prego friend
If you look under seniors.. you will see my oldest boy. the only boy in the group lol

I think pregnancy is beautiful. I really do. But I'd want them to airbrush my stretchmarks. In fact, I'd like someone to airbrush my stretchmarks every day. Thanks kids!
