This June my sister in law will be seven months pregnant with her third child. I was wondering if anyone had any tips or suggestions on how to help in enjoy Disney while being pregnant. I have three of my own, but I never went anywhere while I was pregnant so I am just not much help.

I went to Disney pregnant twice (with both of my kids) With my daughter I was 3 months and felt good, just a little tired. With my son I was 31-32 weeks and felt great the whole trip (10 days). As long as she drinks lots of water and doesn't over do it she will do great. There are places to sit everywhere, and air conditoned stores to cool off. We would do a park in the morning, come back, go in the pool (great when you are pregnant!) I would take a nap, then go back out at night.
She will do great! Have a super time!!

I went to Disney when I was 5 1/2 months prego. I had a BLAST! I could do just about EVERY ride and show. The only thing I couldn't do were the obvious rollar coasters and the Kilimanjro Safari and Kali River Rapids...oh yeah and Dinosaur. All in animal kingdom. Kilimajaro Safari is really kind of bumpy and bad for a pregnant woman. I went shopping or took a break to get off my feet while everyone else went on the big rides. Just have her not go on any ride you wouldn't take a baby on, thats all. And as for the walking, it is a lot of walking, she needs good walking shoes, a bottle of water, she needs to keep real hydrated it will be really hot. And lots of indoor shows so she can get releif from the heat. She will have a great time. And the best thing is the Mommy-to-be spa treatments i had the one offered at the grand floridian and it was a heaven sent after having been on my feet all day. Warning: her feet will swell, so make sure the shoes are loose and comfy. Thats all I really have to say. HAVE FUN!!!!

Will she have a lot of people there to help her with the other kids? That will be a big help. I haven't been to Disney while pregnant before but I went on a long weekend trip to Amelia Island (anniversary trip so no kids were with us) while 7 months pregnant. We did a lot of walking and I got pretty tired but we stopped as often as necessary and didn't try to rush anything. If she's staying on site she can always take the shuttle back to her room for a nap. Also, as mentioned above- she should definitly stay hydrated. And don't plan too many activities or she may wear herself pretty quick. That's what I love about Disney, if you don't feel like rushing, there are tons of relaxing things to do as well! A visit to one of the spas for a mother to be massage would be perfect- or just finding a good show to watch at one of the parks! I'm telling myself these things as well because I'll be there April 1st with my dh and my three sons and I will be 6 months pregnant. Good luck to your sis. BTW, my sis has 4 kids and I'm about to have my 4th. :earsgirl: :jumping1: :earsgirl: We look like a daycare fieldtrip when we're out together!

Ugh, when I was pregnant with my second I had morning sickness and that was no fun! Luckily your sister-in-law will be past that stage (hopefully). I would suggest not to overdo it and take a nap in the afternoons.

Is she use to the hot weather? FL in June can be pretty hot for someone from the north.

Drink plenty of water. LOTS and LOTS.

Sit down and rest. If her ankles begin to swell at all...sit, have some water, and rest. Do a show. But get off those feet. Or she'll be toast for the next day.

i went at 6mths pg w/ dh and ds almost 3. It was a WONDERFUL trip. But we didn't try to see everything. We got to the parks early. Mixed in sitting shows for rest breaks....lots of water...and a rest at the hotel EVERY afternoon for a few hours. The parks are open late then so you get plenty of hours of touring....but the break mid-day was the best!!!!

There will be a total of 11 people, five of those children. Her two girls (5,3), and my three boys(7,5,3). We live in the midwest so we get our share of humidity. I thank everyone for there help, this was one area that we hadn't adventured to yet so I didn't know much. I have read something about a support belt, does anyone know anything about this, is it something that you would buy?

I went to Disney pregnant twice. Once I was 3 weeks from delivery and the other time I was about 6 weeks from delivery. I had a blast! I enjoyed all of the walking and watching everyone having fun. Be sure your friend has lots of water and sits down whenever she is feeling tired (common sense). If you are staying on-site, she could even go back to the hotel for a nap if she feels the need.

I had 2 wonderful pregnancies, so Disney was a way to celebrate that!

I've done it. I was SO HOT!! Lots of rest stops and LOTS of water. Dehydration can make you begin labor.
