Preferred view at BWV

We are going to try and stay at BWV next June 29-July 6 (or so) and I am sure from what I have read so far that the standard views will all be gone. So with a preferred view, what will I be looking out on?

Also, do the 2 bdrm std. views go as quick as the 1 bdrm? Thanks.

We had preferred view at BW and we saw a bit of the parking lot. We had a little lake and we could see the boat going between BW and MGM. Because of the parking lot I did phone and question the room but they assured me it was a preferred view.

The standard views comprise about 20% of the resort. They all go fast.

The preferred view is mostly water/pool views. So most likely you will be looking at the Luna Park Pool or the quiet pool. The Boardwalk view is also a preferred view (points-wise), but a separate booking category.

Preferred view is functionally "everything else" There are some great preferred view rooms and some lousy arguably-worse-than-standard-view rooms. Keep in mind that you could pay the same number of points for the dumpster at VWL or the road at BCV.

I know things change alot in a few weeks but 3 weeks ago we added one more night to our ressie 2bd st view for august. We weren't going to move for one night so we were very happy to get it.

It's possible, but not probable. I think it is a long shot since the 7 month window opened in February. Any reminaing availability for standard view rooms was probably snapped up then.

Doesn't hurt to try - especially if you are willing to use the waitlist. You never really know until you call. Good luck!

This would be for August 08. I have every intention of trying to get it day by day at the 7 month window.
