Preferred Site tent area

We have family that is unexpectedly joining us for a few nights on our November stay and will be staying in a tent . Can anyone tell me how big the area is to set up a tent ? Past experiences would be really helpful as well . Our primary rig on the site is a 32' motor home if that matters .

Each site varies greatly. I'd call and let them know you plan to add a tent and hopefully they will assign you a site with that will accommodate both easily.

I'd say (in my unscientific opinion) that if a tent is no bigger than 12' in its longest direction (length or width), it would be fine. Bigger than that, Denise is right, you run into variations. I would call and add a note to your reservation if I were you (and I have done this) with the size of the tent if it is a larger one.
