Hi!
Does this even exist? If so, which restaurants?
I remember we did it for the Candlelight Processional, but am not sure if they offer something similar for Illuminations viewing.
Thanks!

Currently, there is no preferred dining package for Illuminations. But I would not be surprised if Disney has toyed around with this idea. Once the new restaurant opens in Mexico (slated for fall; no specific date yet), I can see Disney doing this at Mexico and at the Rose and Crown.

Those are the only two restaurants that are "on the water", so to speak.

I was wondering about reserved areas. Last year I noticed different roped of areas that were down near the water, and the section had what looked like a mini-bar area for drinks.

I'm not sure if it was for a special party or if one can buy a Reserved Area type of package for that. Any ideas?

They do offer prefered viewing of Illuminations and Wishes in roped off areas for British guests.
The last two times we took advantage of it the area in Epcot was the boat landing in Marocco and for Wishes it was the rose garden in the MK.

I noticed this too...roped off area with desserts, apps, drinks, and very few people. The CM told me the space was reserved for private parties.

If you book a package with Disney.co.uk you will get a few vouchers with your package. Some of them are the same as the ones you will get when booking in the US (Planet Hollywood voucher, arcade voucher, minigolf voucher) but you also get two vouchers for prefered viewing of Illuminations and Wishes.
Once you have decided when you want to see it, you call them and book your date. The day you want to see the fireworks you walk to the roped off area, hand them your voucher and you are in a prime spot watching the fireworks. There is/was NO seating area, so you will have to stand too, but it is nice to know that you have a prefered spot and not have to fight for a spot to watch the fireworks.

We also won entrance to the prime viewing area as a part of year of a million dreams. (Or rather DD won it for us princess:)

Wish we could go there everytime! They also gave us special viewing glasses that made each point of light look like a mickey head. Still have the glasses, we plan on bringing them for our next trip to use.
