Just wondering if it was worth the extra 10 dollars a day to get a preferred room.

I'm only there for 9 days (solo trip), but I would really hate to
get a room in a building far away.

Any thoughts would be great

thanks,

How much time are you going to be spending at the resort? Is it a resort that has multiple bus stops if you are taking WDW transportation?

Good Point regarding how much time will be spent at the resort.

I will be solo at the pop century and I really don't plan on being there that much.

My concern is that I normally get the mugs for tonic's and really would hate to walk a long distance just to put the mug back to the room.

thanks,

I just did a one day stay at AS Sports because of the hurricane. I loved having a preferred room that was close to the food court and bus stop. It also was great because of the rain that even with a poncho you get wet. I didn't have far to go.

I don't think a perferred room at Pop is necessary and not worth the extra $10. I didn't find any of the areas in Pop too far to walk to. We stayed in May and often would walk around the resort in the mornings and find that the layout is very convenient. Used that $89 to get some great meals!!
