Preferred rooms...

Okay I need a little clarification on a few things as far as All Star Sports is concerned, i want to make sure i'm thinking correctly here. First off we have preferred rooms which we were told is "closest to everything" like the food court and pool. Well i was looking up something the other day and read that the Surfs Up building is closest to everything... so am i to assume that is where we will be staying? Also someone (sorry i forgot your name!!) responded to my previous post about Sports and said that they were upgraded to a preferred room and that they had stayed in Surfs Up... so that goes along with what i was reading then right? Unless there is preferred rooms in every building... that is where i am possibly getting confused.

Also, does anyone know for sure what buildings at Sports have and have not been reno'd? I am hoping we're in Surfs Up because i know those have been done but i just want to try to get an idea in case thats not actually where we end up.

Surf's Up is the preferred building at ***. I'm pretty sure all the rooms in those buildings are considered preferred. The other building aren't preferred.

Personally having stayed in a few of the buildings, I didn't find the preferred to be worth the extra money. We were still able to get to everything easily and the walks weren't much further.

Well we have preffered because we're travling with someone who has limited mobility so i think thats why my aunt chose to get those rooms. But thanks that answers my question

I just stayed at Surf's Up over the past weekend and I don't think the room I stayed in was refurbished yet. It had an older TV (not flat screen) and one of the beds was not in good shape.
