Preferred Rooms at AS Sports

Does anyone know which buildings at All Star Sports are the "preferred" buildings? Is it worth paying extra to get a room in one?

The preferred rooms at the All Star Sports is the Surf's Up building. I really don't think it is worth the extra $10/night for
this building. The whole sports complex is not that spread out.
It is easy to get to the food court from any location you are in.
Bus stop is in the front of the building that houses the food court.
Even after a long day at the parks none of the buildings are that
far apart that you would have a long walk or even for a refill for
your refillable mug!!

I have stayed at ASSp twice and I would pay for the preferred buildings. They are closes to the food area, but I also loved the theming! The bright blue was so pretty and had a "beachy" theme that went along with the pool area. I don't care for basketball or football, so those areas seem very "masculine" to me-not what a girl wants on vacation! I stayed in the basketball section twice without complaining with my DH and DS, but it's not my first choice!

We have stayed at the AS Sports many times...in preferred rooms and non preferred.

Yes, the theming is cute...surfs up...beside the pool area. Paying the extra doesn't guarantee you a pool view. You could be in the far end on the back side.

The all stars are some of the best laid out resorts on property. No matter what building you are put in...you are no more than a few minute walk to the main building/pool/food court/ laundry room, etc.

Because of the short walks...we try to get non-preferred first.
