Preferred Pass discount

I have a preferred annual pass. I am planning on going with my brother who does not have a pass. Can anyone tell me what the discount would be for me buying his ticket? I would get getting a one day park to park pass

Can those 15% off tickets be bought in advance or do they have to be bought at the gate? Example is that for our trip in Nov, the plan is to buy one 2 park preferred pass and 2 2-park 5 day tickets. Hoping I can do it all at once and get the 2 5 day tickets at 15% off.

Yup, gate only with the discounts on gate prices. The pass needs to be activated to use it.
