Which Loops are the preferred ones? We are looking to be on a site with full hook ups and cable, close to a comfort station, playground and buses. We are not bringing our critter so don't need a pet loop, but aren't opposed to being in one if need be. 1400 and 300, look to be nice ones to suit our needs on the FW map, but aren't sure if they are preferred.
Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Are you looking for Preferred or Premium (see other posts on Premium)?

Yes both 1400 and 300 are preferred. Not sure but I think 1400 is not a pet loop but 300 is a pet loop . We have always stayed at 300 , it is a very nice loop. And if you like to fish , 300 is a canal loop and on the lake .Also from the lake is a great place to watch the fireworks at the MK. ... Mr. :goofy:

Hello!

We love the 300 loop, but have not been successful in reserving it. We request that loop each time, but usually get an 800 loop campsite. The 800 loop is nice and it has preferred sites as well.

400 and 500 are also preferred. We stayed in 500 and I felt it was in a great location. It wasn't much of a walk to the Settlement/Marina and the walk to the Meadows/pool was doable too(if you didn't want to get a golf cart). We were just a few sites in from the entrance of the loop, but I really didn't hear much bus/cart traffic at all. We were in site 512. It was a little tight to get in, but good location.

1400 and 300 are both preferred; I think you'll have a harder time getting 300, but there's no harm in trying. 300 is a pet loop; 1400 is not (although there were pets there last week). We've stayed in the 1400 loop 5 times, the 1000 loop (full hookups only) once, and the 200 loop once. We usually request 1400 because it's near the pool, the campfire and the Meadows trading post, and just a 5 minute walk or even quicker bike ride to the settlement. We prefer being closer to the pool because we generally drive to the parks and so don't need to get to the Settlement for the buses. If we're having a campground day, we're more likely to hang at the pool than the Settlement, and it's easy enough to ride a bike down there to Trail's End or the marina. Last week we had a site in the 1400 loop that backed onto the canal and I was amazed at how many canoes and kayaks went by. You see so much more now that a lot of the foliage has been cleared.
