Preferred AP - Block Out Dates for Early Park Entry ?

I have a **Preferred** annual pass. Can I get early park admission all year long or do I have black out dates? If so, what are the black out times? The Universal website is not very clear….. (so frustrating…)

There is a list online for April and May only, which looks to me similar or the same as resort people get - just the Studios, not IOA. Which makes some sense, they are not going to open early just for AP holders, but the AP dates are a bit more restrictive than the resort guests dates, as I see they did not include the week after Easter. Never any EE for Volcano Bay though. Also says this - Early Park Admission is not available November 18-25 and December 22-31, 2018. So I would guess most days you would get the same EE as the resort guests, with the exception of holiday and busier times. Sorry, not real helpful.

FYI, they are doing early entry at Volcano Bay for 3 park annual passes for May only.

Well that directly contradicts what it says on the website under preferred AP early entry - Annual Passholder Early Park Admission is not available at Universal’s Volcano Bay™, but you can get Early Park Admission to Volcano Bay™ when you stay at one of our amazing on-site resort hotels.

They really need to make their website be more helpful!
