I have mixed feelings, because obviously it will mean many tears from us Saints fans when he goes. I just don't want him going to play for anyone else.

Ditto, but I've followed his throws since he came to NOLA. The seam route to Cook was stellar this season and brought us wins. And what we saw is that without a solid WR2 in the lineup, we are limited. I think that is the direction that free agency and draft picks will go......WR.

He is such a part of the city that I don't see a scenario he leaves the team unless he decides to (hoping that the QB coach is the direction he is given/chooses).

There's a difference between a QB who is a passer, but can run when nobody is open and a QB, like Jackson, who's main weapon is running and then passing. I don't know anyone who would think Young and Wilson were running QB's. They were and are pass first QB's pure pocket passers. When Jackson fell behind and was forced to pass then the warts showed. Passes thrown over and behind receivers all day.

I dont know about anyone else but I broke down like a little child when Jimmy Johnson got inducted into the hall of fame during halftime of the packers game. Poor Troy Aikman cried like a baby on national tv. I hated the cowboys, but sometimes you just gotta let it go and celebrate the moment.
