Predict your dining rotation?

7 adults and 6 kids ages 10,10,9,6,6,4. we had LAP rotation.

I liked that rotaion. Very close to ships exit on debarkation day.

I must be dreaming of our future Magic cruise.... We had TAPP (on the Wonder...oops)

On all 4 of our DCL cruises, we've had APL rotation. We have 2 small children, 6 years, and 18 months...

Wow, thanks guys. It sounds like if you have kids, it's not as sure which one you'll get, but if you're all adults, it's much more likely you'll get LAP (or TAP).

So, my tentative plan will be TAP, eating Palo's the third night. :) We'll take a look at Parrot Cay for breakfast or lunch sometime.

Just curious. Why would Disney put groups with little ones on the aplapla rotation. That has them in Lumiere's for the formal & semi-formal nights. Wouldn't little one's enjoy the color at animator's palate or parrot cay better? Our group is older teens and adults and it looks like we will get stuck with the laplapl rotation. We would enjoy dressing up for our formal nights more if we could enjoy the atmosphere at Lumier's. We would love Parrot Cay for Tropical night.

Just to add to the survey .... 2 adults, 2 children (6 & 9) and we got the APL rotation (second sitting). There were lots of children, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well behaved they all were - even mine! One night I heard a baby crying, but s/he was whisked away by Mom in about 30 seconds. Other than that, it was just a hum of conversation. Even though we had APL, there were several adult only tables, including a honeymooning couple nearby.

I was just on the Wonder New Years Cruise and we were 2 adults. We had late seating and rotation was TAPP (because the first Parrot Cay was New Years dinner, all menus were the same). We sat with two young couples, one on their honeymoon and one on a honeymoon belated about 3 months.

How do you request a dining rotation? Is this done in advance?

Adding to your survey, we were two adults no kids on the Magic and we had LAP. This time we are taking our kids and would like to eat at Animator's 3 times, if possible.

Last year we had a senior citizen and myself (forty-ish) female on the Magic Eastern and got PLAPLAP. This year we added a forty-ish male and we got PLAPLAP. My Dad and his two grown kids leave their spouses at home and have a family vacation together. Seems that if they don't know what to do with you they put you in PLAPLAP.

In March 2001, 4 adults and 1 almost 5 yr ols, 2 yr old and 9 mos. old and we had APL. We fit the mold!!
Hope to get the same one.
If we do, Animators doesn't do it's stuff the first night does it? I can't remember exactly. I do kinda remember it being the 2nd time and not the third.
When do we do Palo's. Want it to be a formal night

How about someone with a 10 and a 4 year old? Oh, and I thought it was just the first night you are at AP that it changed. Please let me know so we don't miss it.
