Okay, all you Seventh Heaven fans. How is all going to end?

Here is what my DDs and I came up with at lunch the other day: Martin has a nagging feeling that he should have a paternity test on the baby. (After all, if Sandy slept with HIM on the first date, how many others have there been?) They eventually figure out that the baby is Simon's. Rose is furious and the engagement is off. Simon and Sandy end up together (with the series ending with their church wedding with the cast of thousands in attendance) and Ruthie and Martin become involved. I think we'll see Matt at the wedding but not Mary.

Anybody else care to wrap up the series?

I have watched this off and on since the beginning. I am hooked again just to see how it is going to end. All I hope is that Simon doesn't marry Rose.

I hope so too, but the 7th Heaven writers have a way of sticking it to their viewers; so I'm afraid the Simon/Rose wedding may happen after all. (Anyone remember how Matt and Heather never wound up together or that awful Valentine's Day episode when Lucy and Mary ran into their exes on dates? I have issues, I guess.) I would be elated with a Simon/Sandy pairing, but I just don't trust the writers to come through for us.

I would have to agree with you I pretty much figured the baby was probably his from the moment she got pregnant. I hope he dumps Rose she seems weird I also think her ex boyfriend will probably come between them since they did the whole mention of the ex thing last episode. You know something will follow that.

I am hoping for a Simon/Sandy and Ruthie/Martin pairing. I just do not like Rose. I really hope Matt comes back at least one more time, but he has a new show starting soon for another network.

Another do NOT like Rose here... plus it is hard to see her any way other than Cruel Intentions 2 (really bad, but still). But she and Simon may end up pg before they get married or she could pull a Georgia on him and he dumps her. There are too many things that could happen with Rose.

Ruthie/Martin would be nice to FINALLY see.

I think Lucy is having twins after the many babies and the fact that twins do run in her family. Either that or something bad is going to happen and being pregnant myself, I don't want to see that.

i agree i think sandy's baby is simons.
I dont really know if i want ruthie and marting together. but i really think they should say that sandy's baby is simon.

a little of topic, did you guys here how upn and wb is now going to be one channel called cw and they are dropping alot of wb's show.

Eww, I would not like to see Ruthie end up with Martin. I just cannot stand her.

I would love this ending. I can't stand Rose.

Of course I would love to see Simon and Sandy end up together!!

I am surprised Rose has lasted this long on the show!! But I guess it is good to show that there are really annoying people out there and sometimes you do have to put up with them!!!

I missed a few shows at the beginning---did Simon and Sandy actually sleep together, or are you just hoping they did so the baby can be his?
I missed the show where the baby was born too--was it a boy or girl?

I find Ruthie very snotty and whiny this season.....

I love Kevin and Lucy. I especially love Kevin because I met him (George Stults) at LAX!! We got our picture taken with him. He is very nice, and spent about 5 minutes talking to us. He was on his way to Vancouver to see his brother Geoff. Very cool!! Now when I watch the show, it feels so different, feeling like I 'know' him!! :teeth:

Is this the last season of 7th Heaven? :guilty:

(I just went to the WB website, and saw that Simon did indeed sleep with Sandy, and admitted it to Eric---so maybe your predictions will come true!)

The other thing that could spell the end of Rose and Simon is that Simon finally expressed one desire for the wedding...that they get married by his dad, in his dad's church. Rose said that was two wishes and that he can't have both and she doesn't want to get married in that church.

I know that Simon has "strayed" a bit, but surely it will dawn on him that it is not a good idea for him to be marrying such an unreligious person. I so hope he will put his foot down and finally insist on the church wedding.

That is so funny. I was thinking the same thing, that Simon was the father. I sure hope one way or another that he doesn't marry Rose cause I can not stand her. Not too fond of Ruthie either anymore. Her character has turned into such a brat. I hope she doesn't end up with Martin.
We all know that it has to end with Lucy having another child. I just love Kevin and since he wants another one so badly I hope it comes true for them.

My guess is everyone will get toether for some special event either the birth of Lucy's second baby or maybe Simon marrying Sandy. please not Rose.
All will be there except Mary. Would be nice if she would show up for the final show but my guess is she won't.

YES Simon did sleep with Sandy!
The baby was a boy

that's because she is a teenager in love..lol!

very cool...George is so cute..his brother is ok'..but I hear he's Stacy Kiebler's boyfriend (from Dancing With The Stars)

Is this the last season of 7th Heaven?

YES..and we are down to I think the last 8 or 9 episodes!

I really like the ending that the OP has created! That would be a perfect ending for this show.

My family loves 7th Heaven and we are sad to see it end.

I cannot stand Rose and her whiny attitude. She can get back with her ex and leave Simon alone.

Lucy just found out she is pregnant. The wedding is supposed to be in May; I think the baby is due in October, so we won't be seeing the birth.

Has anybody thought about how if Sam and David were better actors, the show might be able to continue? By their age, Ruthie was carrying certain episodes. Those boys are just awful...now way could any episodes be centered around them.

As for Ruthie's character, sometimes I think that the loyal fans know a lot more about the characters than the writers do. I don't think Ruthie would have grown up to be a boy crazy teen with no extra-cirricular activities. She used to have strong beliefs and principles (remember when her private school wouldn't admit some minority girl, so she left?) She rode horses; she and Simon were always plotting this and that. A together girl like that typically doesn't turn out to be a girl who does nothing in high school but chase boys.

lynxstch--thanks for the replies.

I was wondering why when I was watching Dancing with the Stars they kept showing Geoff Stults!! Figured he must be Stacys boyfriend. George is much cuter though!! :rotfl:

I can't see Mary coming back, she is too much of a 'superstar' right now to come back to some lowly tv show!

I am sad to see this show ending too. I like having a show that has good morals, and doesn't have someone getting killed every show with a bunch of detectives trying to figure it out. Just some good old family drama, white picket fences, brother and sister and parent relationships, school events, weddings, babies, and a big fluffy dog. :cloud9:

I honestly cannot stand Sam and David. I usually watch this show on my DVR, so I fast forward through their scenes. It is absolutely painful to watch. I think they were a huge part of this show ending. With Ruthie being the youngest, Annie could have finally gotten out of the house and done different things and broadened the plot and storylines more.

I want to slap Ruthie right now too. She is acting like a typical teen, which is so atypical of how she was portrayed for the entire series. I expected more from her.

Actually with the direction the show has gone lately, I am kind of ready to see it end. I don't really care for it that much anymore, and am only still watching because I feel like I have to stick it out to the end.
