With all these changes - seemingly now only 30 days to pay down the purchase without resorting to financing, only one "tour" per incentive cycle, etc., I'm glad I have all the points I need for the foreseeable future.

Are we crazy?

Onboard Destiny, last day. Thinking of taking advantage of the price and incentives to buy 200 more points. That would give us 475 PVB, 225 BLT, and 100 AUL.

We are staying in Florida (finishing) for a month and about to drive back to winter on Friday. Work allowed me to work remotely this year and I see that continuing until I retire (likely moving to be very close to WDW). Our thought is to bank/borrow for 1-2 years and stay in a 1BR for 26-30 days while I work 4 days/week. We would be fine with any of the lower point charts resorts for these couple years (SSR, OKW, BWV).

If we start process today, we would be back home in case we decide to cancel.

After staying in Davenport, FL and hearing all the construction going on. We loved going to Polynesian on Friday nights. Also spent several weekends at parks and/or Disney Springs.

We know, it’s cheaper to rent a house offsite. But we are Disney nerds and all about safety these days. Disney is our place.

Even when we retire down here, we plan to have shorter stays during festivals, visit more often, and even people watch. Also, see staying every early December. Some may not think PVB is Christmas, but we love the islands and the culture. The various decorations with humpback whales, sea turtles, etc are our style. DW father played ukulele and Hawaiian wedding song at our wedding.

I live here and still manage to use 450 points a year in my backyard you will find plenty of reasons to stay on property.
