Prebooked Seats With Virgin

Hi All.

9 days to go :woohoo: Getting excited now, just completed API on Virgins website and have noticed that although I had prebooked my seats months ago it now says "We're sorry. The seat map is not available at this time. Your seats will be assigned at check in." Is this normal? I am sorry if this question has already been answered.
 
I had my seats booked for over a year with Virgin and they were still shown us mine the day before i travelled. When i did the twighligt check in i had lost my prebooked seats. THe agent was usuless and said that i would be lucky to even get a seats together, unless i was willing to pay for the extra leg room seats. What a surpirse that the seats i had pre booked were then available. I refused to pay and took what ever seats in the end. I am dissapointed with Virgin, the service seems to have declined during the last few years i have travelled with them.
 
if you go back into 'amend booking' and click on your name you will see your seat numbers still there :thumbsup2
