I have been to WDW twice already and have never experienced and anxiety what so ever. This year has been MUCH different. I have had nightmares about missing my PSs or going to the wrong one at the wrong time. I have dreamed that I was late for CRT and my family was already finished when I am usually the one sounding the alarm for everyone else in the morning. I am panicking about every little detail! Does anyone else have this problem?

Oh my goodness, can I relate!!! This is my 7th trip in 4 years, and I am still a MESS!

But, it is fun, though. I can't imagine what I would do without my "Disney" stress.

Just take a deep breath...Relax...and know that a bad day at Disney is infinitely better than a bad day (or even a good day, sometimes) in the real world. Not that you will have any mistakes or mishaps, but even they can wind up being a "memorable" part of your vacation.

Have a great trip!

It depends on who is going, or our mode of transportation getting there as to how stressed out I get. When anyone but my immediate family is going I tend to be much more stressed since I make the plans, and if they don't go well, it falls back on me.

I also tend to stress more when we fly for some reason. I guess it is all of the hurry up and wait you have to do at the airports.

One of our most relaxing trips was this summer when we took an impromtu trip, drove our own car (for the 1st time, we used to rent) and it was just DD, DH and myself, and we had no huge plans. That is my true idea of a Disney vacation!

I have done this before too. But the closer the trip got the more I relaxed. Just go and have a wonderful time! :)

Everything will go great - just relax and have fun!!! I must admit I'm a little worried about the crowds but theres nothing one can do except make the most of your time there :D

I had a dream about leaving our puppy in a HORRIBLE place and I was sick over it!!! I kept saying, " I can't leave her here!!" We can't go!!" Thank God it was only a dream........she will be well taken care of at her breeder's home with lots of other playmates.....including some siblings from her litter!

Have a wonderful trip!! I know we will!!

The last three trips DH hasn't been able to go with us just me and a various mixture of teenagers. So my nightmares involve the car breaking down! Every time I stop to get gas the hair on the back of my neck stands up thinking that the car won't start!! Now we have never had trouble -- but that would be a big one for me!! :D

Relax and have a great trip!!

Oh by, my dreams have been doozies!!

I'm quite anxious for many reasons...then I have occasional moments of calm and they feel really good. LOL!! I'm considering a stiff drink on the plane or maybe some Valium. LOL!!!

Remember to reathe.... ;-)

Oh yes I've experienced this!!

Last year when we had friends and family meeting up with us I really had night anxiety. I couldn't sleep and would go over all our plans and times we were meeting up etc. My mom was experiencing the same thing (she was part of the family that was meeting us).

This year just DH, DD & I were going and I had far less anxiety. I just got really excited the last two nights b/4 we left, but I was worried far less.

Try to relax as best you can! Have an awesome time while there!

Sometimes it pays have the anxiety & double check all your plans. Our trip has been planned for months and months & when we checked on our hotel reservations we were only confirmed for one suite, not two. Do you know how freaked out we would have been if we got there & didn't have a room, or even checked now they were all booked up. Everything worked out for us, but I'm sure there are times when it doesn't.

All I have to say is it pays to be organized and informed. Read a couple of those Disney guidebooks and check out the web sites. Try not to worry yourself sick.

Good luck to everyone.

We are not going until February and I am already having major stress. This is our first time at WDW, DL was such a breeze three years ago, I feel overwhelmed with all to do at WDW. It's up to me for all the plans, my DH just sicks back. My oldest DS is 12 and I really want him to have a great time before the teenage years hit, and my youngest DS is 7 and is SO EXCITED. So I feel even more pressure. I am trying to relax but I can't. So, I just have to count the days and hang in there. So I guess we're all on this side of normal right?

The only time I stress is when we are flying down. I have visions of a major traffic jam and missing my flight. I always end up at the airport way too early because of this fear. Last time, my husband told me that he'd meet me at the airport because there's no way he's going to be there 3 hours early again.

I also worry about weather a little bit, but that's about it.

I often have dreams about missing a ps or worse, going to the wrong park for early entry

Not ME! I can't wait to leave and just be there!! The only thing I am a lttle stressed about is i have to frive to tampa to catch my flight home. Bummer In NYE as well. . .

Life is short.......SMELL THE COFFEE:D :D . Vacations should be free of stress.

Since our lives are soooooo hectic in Boston, we go to WDW with NO plans aside from airfare and hotel. We've seldom had trouble getting into any of the restaurants. We decide EACH MORNING, what we'll do for the day.

RELAX!!!!!!!!!!

LOL, jenfur, that is part of the fun at Disney. So much to do, so much to think of. Enjoy, you'll do great, and planning is almost as much fun as the trip itself. Take care. I hope to see you there. Send me a pm.
