For September’s Washington DC trip I have two pages of stickers for DC and three others with a “stars and stripes” theme. A dry embossed page header, squares spelling out “Lincoln Memorial” and “The Mall”, Stars made out of wire, a wire “H” made like barbed wire for the Holocaust Museum, some boarders and s squares made with red, white and blue scraps, paper with a red, white and blue theme…..well you get the picture. A t Joann’s they have all their stickers on sale for 40% off. Well they had Disney stickers and I just had to buy them even if I’m not going until November 2004! ! (lol) How far do you go with pre-trip scrapping?

Good for you I wish I were that organized. I'm like 10 years behind in my scrapbooking.... I usually scrap on the inspiration if KWIM..... The only thing I might plan are the photos especially if I have been there before and I missed some keys photos on the last trip...

I can't even get post trip scrapping done! LOL

I also have to SEE the actauly pictures to decide what I want to do with colors, embellishments, etc!

I am very impressed! :)

Yep-I am totally on board with the pre-trip prepardness!!
For our last disney trip I participated in 6 or so disney swaps before hand! Also bought anything disney I could get my little paws on !! When I came back I had everything!! Ohhh and spinning even sent me a cm snap pack (thank youuu again!!). My album was 70 plus pages and only took till january to finish!!!
Now I have to start collecting wedding supplies!

I don't think I would pre-scrap a trip just because so often the pics 'speak' to me.

But I am off to Joann's!! Got a windfall this week and I need to spend!!!

I do a little and I do mean a little preplanning for a trip. If I know a vacation is coming up and I find my self in a scrapbook store I pick up a few things here and there for it.( look at my sticker binder! LOL!)oh and my paper keeper...I buy paper with just the hopes I can use it! To justify why I have so much!
I don't think I would ever start a layout and then add the pictures once I got home.
I know a lady who does this. She goes to our LSS and copies all of the idea layouts on the wall and then when that activity or event happens she just adds the photos. In some ways it would make life simple...
