I have a family member getting married at the end of Feb so were going to do a couple days at Disneyland..

Here is what I have so far- PLEASE HELP WITH ANY TIPS YOU MAY HAVE :)

Thurday- we arrive later in the days.. We have reservations at Goofy's that night and then we will swing by the Jazz Kitchen to pick up some goodies for later. Figured we would do a little DTD shopping there too. Then back to the room for a good night sleep.

Friday- The whole family is going.. like 20-30 people whole family. Since that can be so unpredictable I set no plan for today. (will I reget this)

Saturday- Wedding day so no Disneyland :(

Sunday- DISNEYLAND! Just me and DD. We will use our EE passes and get to the park super early and go crazy. We have reservations for breakfast at Ariels Grotto (DD is a die hard princess fan- her favorite place too) then back to more fun and reservations at the Blue Bayou for late lunch (my favorite).

Monday- we have a later flight leaving.. So to kill time we have reservations at Surf's up and maybe a little more DTD shopping.

PROBLEMS!!!

I think I want to surprise DD with the trip. Suggestions? Bad idea? Good idea?
When and how do I tell her?

Also last time we did BBB witch is pricy.. not sure where to fit it in either. She went last time on her 4th birthday so it was one of her main presents and LOVED it.. is she going to REALLY REALLY want to do it again? If so where should I put that? She is 5 1/2 if this helps.

Thanks all :)

So as you said on the main board, the gig is up. How did the cat get out of the bag?

I surprised mine a couple times. So first trip to DL, all I said is we were going on an adventure to ride a steam train. Didn't tell a sole anything more than that until the day before if they had any contact with him. Not grandparents or teachers, nothing, just a, by the way we'll be gone a few days back on Monday.

For WDW told a few more people since it would be a longer trip, but only that we were going on an adventure and would ride a plain, train, bus and boat.

Since you are skipping BBB maybe get her a princess dress to wear ahead of time.

How late is that Monday flight? Enough to get a forth day in to reride your favorites?

Well.. when I booked it I thought it would leave enough time for a trip that day.. but the more I thought about it I'm not sure.. Flight leaves LAX about 5.. it was their latest non stop flight :/ So figure we need to be there by 3.. an hour and a half drive time.. so we would have to leave by 1:30. I'm still debating it.. It's only $14 more for an extra day.. should I do it?

Do you think it would be better to buy it ahead of time.. it'll probably save money lol or let her pick it out there and have the experience?
