Pre Trip Report May 20-28

OK here we go I have been planning this trip since January .........


So it will be ..

ME * 22

DBF* 22

My SIS* 25

MOM

RESORT
we are staying at SSR hopefully closer to DTD so we can walk to DTD. Me and DBF are planning on getting a couples massage!!!!(can't wait for that)

TICKETS
We have bought 7day park hoppers I know it's ambitious to be in the park seven out of the eight days we will be there but it was only EIGHT dollars for the extra three days.
I figure this way I can see fireworks every night!!!


ANYWAY
ADR"S
our ADRS are CRT for Dinner on the 23rd and SCI FI for lunch on the 21st
other than that we are just gonna see were we are when we are hungry.

Me and DBF want to rent a Sea racer (water mouse)!!!!

We have also snagged tickers for the P&PP on the 26th I plan on eating at the resort as that day will hopefully be a relaxed day so we can party hardy

I plan to met a Fellow DISER on my trip which I am very excited for !! HINT HINT


It is funny because I have been to Disney countless times at least once a year since I was born and my DBF has only been there twice once with me and once with his family when he was about eight. He is excited but over the smallest things like the blue squishes as he calls them (the carbonated beverages) and mickey waffles.

he is not a DISER so it is safe to say on this forum that I have some surprises in store for him since it will be our 3 year Anniversary but we've known each other for nine!!!!

I hope to order a special cake for my mother as a belated mother's day gift!

she is not a big cake person but I thought the mini castle one person severing size cake with Happy mothers day written on it would be a nice gesture??

Great start! This trip is a little like deja vu for me....my DF and I are going May 20 - May 28 and also going to P&PP on the 26th! And he has been bugging me to rent those sea raycers for a few years now, so we will probabyl do that too ! Looking forward to reading more!

you know its funny we actually planned this vacation out of the blue! of course being DVC members helped the situation.

at first my mother and sister were gonna drive while me and DBF were gonna fly. My mom is not much for going to the parks because she has bad arthritis and her favorite rides hurt her neck. So she thought by having her car she could bring her bike and if she wanted she could drive down to see her brother if she got bored. I personally loved this Idea it would give me and DBF the first night to our own accord. I had this great Idea planned


go to POR and eat there (one of my favorite food courts)
also this is where I was last year when he told me over the phone that he can't live with out me (he wasn't on that trip) so this place has great memories for me

then I wanted to go to the magic kingdom for EMH and fireworks

Now I am stuck because I don't wanna just ditch mom but I am also not gonna spend my entire vacation worried about her because I plan on being in the park as often as humanly possible I mean I have seven day park hoppers for an eight day trip!!!


I just want my mom to have fun too and not be by herself all the time

HELP ME what do I do how do I have a good time and make sure my mom has fun too AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!



we are in between do we take magical express or rent a car??? we already have ME booked but now Mom is thinking about renting a car

with every decision of my mom's comes another headache for me.....

I love her but it took her three weeks to hear me say for the three extra day park hopper it is only 8 dollars more. she kept brushing me off and saying "well think about it because I don't wanna lose all that extra money."


um hello thats sixteen bucks for me and DBF which I will pay you back if I don't use the days AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Yeah me and MEGVEG intend to meet by splash mountain to watch the parade then run to splash as soon as the parade is over!!!!

woww what I would do for DBF to be the LEAST bit involved with planning i think hes starting to get annoyed with me and asking about ADRs every day

Haha! Its the opposite in our relationship - I just try and keep up with him! Our first trip together was realllyyy commando style - we are a little more laid back now since we are going with our parents too! ( I was teasing my Mom and told her we had to slow down for the "old people" )

After we got home My DBF said I made him walk so much his butt was lifted about two inches I hope to be a little less intense but I love Disney so much I want to get everything in

It's getting down to the wired we've got 25 more day till we fly out and I can't wait!!!

I am still waiting for my mother to decide if we are gonna rent a car or not? now I just have to decide what movies are gonna hold me over till we go?

Ok well as you can see if you have been paying attention to my post count I am on here a lot and I just can't stay away I need Disney and I need it now!!!

I have been planning and planning this trip yes I know your plans could always change in a heart beat but it is fun for me to have a tenative schedual!!!

so far

Tues 20th- fly out 12:30 hit SSR by 330 check in play the rest by ear

Wed 21st- MGM lunch at SCI-FI fantasmic

Thurs 22nd- resort Downtown Disney day evening EMH at epcot!

Fri 23rd-MAGIC KINGDOM (AAAAWWW) Dinner at CRT

Sat 24th- A water park and Putt-putt

Sun 25th- Animal Kingdom Donald's buffet breakfast

Mon 26th- pool relax Day/ maybe rent a water mouse//// But P&PP (with MEGVEG ) that night

tue 27th- Epcot lunch at ESPN dessert at Beaches and cream!!!



as you can see I have given it a lot of thought I want to visit the parks everyday even if just for one ride b/c I have the park hopper that will allow me to do this so I will use it!

I want to be there I can't help but talk about it I am so siked and it seems I am the only one in our group who doesn't mind hearing about it on a daily basis?!!!

you guys have any thoughts on my trip?

I can't wait!!! I have finally got some hours at work so now I am planning a La Nuba show. I really want to do something special for my DBF to make this a trip he'll never forget but I am stuck on Ideas???? does anyone have an idea that might help me out?
