Finally finished up our travel plans and I am interested to see what everybody thinks. We are staying off property at a condo, so ADRs are not part of this plan. We are both in our late 20s and this will be our 4th trip each, but first in 5 years.

We are from Canada, but are flying from Detroit on NWA.

I currently have my rental car booked with ALAMO. With a 10am pick-up on the 2nd and 4pm drop-off on the 10th the cost for an Economy car is $241 USD. I keep on searching for a better rate, but can't seem to find anything. However, this appears to be a good deal.

Here are the details of the trip:

July 2

- flight arrives at 9:30am
- pick-up rental car
- go to AK and do whatever we can til 5ish, including the afternoon parade. Will probably focus on some of the bigger "production" shows such as the Lion King and Finding Nemo. Will grab a FP for EE if still available and if it fits into our time frame. GF has never been to this park before, but I have. We will be returning to AK for another morning.
- go eat and check in.

July 3rd

- Epcot from open til close. Will start with Soarin and next to Test Track. Will do whatever else we can til 1:30ish when we head to World Showcase to eat and stay for the rest of the day.

July 4th

- Condo & Shopping

July 5th

- Drive to Miami to see Pirates @ Marlins 1pm game

July 6th

- MK from open to close (Do all Parades and fireworks on this day too). Start with Splash and Big Thunder then to AdventureLand. We will be returning to MK for another morning.

July 7th

- AK morning. Complete all the "big/busy" rides that we plan on skipping the first day and stay til mid afternoon. Shopping or DTD.

July 8th

- DHS Morning. Complete all the "big/busy" rides (TSM, RNR and TofT) and stay til early afternoon.
- Trip to St. Petes to see Jays @ Rays 7pm game

July 9th

- Sleep in and return to DHS late morning. Complete all activities we missed the previous day. Fantasmic that night.

July 10th

- checkout.
- go to MK and stay til mid afternoon. Start in FantasyLand then head to TomorrowLand. Take our time and do everything we missed on the first day and repeat all favourites.
- drop rental car off at 4pm
- 6:45pm return flight home.

Thoughts and suggestions are appreciated.

hey! your plans look good- don't forget that it will be SUPER crowded during this time because of the holiday. Also, you can make ADR's if you are staying offsite! If you want to sit down and eat, I would highly recommend making some! You can make them now I believe..but staying offsite doesn't mean you can't make some!

YA it is no fun that it will be soooo busy. That is why we have 2 days for each park (not including Epcot). We considered ADRs, but figured it would be easier to go with the flow and eat as we go instead of planning our days around meals.
