I have not seen to much info on the Cabins compared to the other resorts so I aim to inform those who come after me.
We were kinda forced into the cabins due to our family of 5. Our other option was POR, but after looking at the rooms it would be tight fit. We were offered the cabins at a very discounted rate for being a military family. Thank you disney for caring about military people.
We got the military tickets and the DDP.
We have our table service planed out:
Chef Mickey's
Coral reef
Tepan Edo
Planet Hollywood (optional)
Garden Grill
Quick service is just when ever we get hungry and where we are at. We are not too concerned with how much money we save we just wanted to pay for as much of the trip as possible before we leave. We also bought 2 gift cards of 500.00 each for spending money at the World.
This is our second trip to WDW, last time we had a time share (Bluegreen) and we stayed offsite.
I am also thinking of meeting with DVC to become a member at AKV.
We considered ME for transportation for to and from airport. But with all the reviews of FW cabins saying get a car to get to parks faster we elected to get a car. We are going to try both internal and car transportation and will report back on which is really better.
Our tentative plan is:
MK 3/21 starting at 1200 noon
MK 3/22 starting at rope drop
AK 3/23 starting at rope drop, After 5 Might be Epcot
EPT 3/24 starting after Chef mickey's
DHS 3/25 starting at rope drop, After 4pm heading to another park
