Deb, we would love to hear about your Wish girl and your family. What kinds of things you would like to do at Disney when you get there, where you all plan to eat if you eat in the parks etc. Just anything about your famliy and your pretrip planning as you go along. We understand if you would rather not At any rate welcome to the boards and our little "WISH" home

Thank you! We got those pics done through the Littlest Heros project, photographers donate their time for kiddos that have medical issues. Your DS would qualify, you should check them out.

We have only been to Florida once, so I have no clue on restaurants and we didn't even go to Epcot. We may do the Rain Forest Cafe this time.
I love the pictures. We did the Littlest Hero Project too. Unfortunately she didn't do a great job. I think we have one or 2 good ones.

Welcome Kayla!

On your AK day I would do Tusker House for breakfast. It is a character meal and has yummy food (buffet style, even my picky eater likes it here). Then either of the restaurants mentioned by the previous poster for lunch later.

I love Rainforest Cafe, but you may also want to check out Tusker Houser - I think they have a character breakfast.

You are not losing your mind.....I posted the same question on this thread and on the Wish Trip thread to make sure everyone saw it. You have now answered it both places, so I think you def have it covered

For AK, I was thinking about somewhere where we could sit down, but Pizzasafari sounds like it would be right up their alley.
Garden Grill sounds cool, do we need to make reservations for it ahead of time?

I thought I replied to this already, but maybe I was interrupted while typing and never hit submit. There are pictures in Tyler's Wish report of both restaurants. P.16 and post #232 starts the Garden Grill pictures. There are some pictures of food in there and I have more that I did not add. P. 18 post #263 shows the inside and the food at Pizzasafari. Yes, you need reservations for Garden Grill. If you cannot locate any, pm me and I will help you find some. Sorry, for not actually hitting reply earlier!

I first heard about Littlest Hero on this board also. We chose someone in Savannah and she was great. I haven't shared them yet because it's still another day or two away on my TR. If you don't want to take the time during your trip to do it, you could always look for someone in your home town.

I was going to suggest Tusker House for breakfast. They do the character meal (yes, get an ADR online or phone) and you can also enter the park before it opens if you want to get going that early. We didn't make it to AK but I heard lots of good things about this place.

World Showcase has tons of great food if you are planning on going all the way around on your Epcot day. We skipped most of Future World. Biergarten has a band that plays and they encourage guests to get up and dance. The Japanese place cooks it in front of you. The Morrocan place has belly dancers. I would read through the list of places on the WDW site and see if any pique your interest.
