We're pretty much all set for our trip next week, there's 4 of us, me, Johnny_boy AKA John, daddy, etc. DW AKA Clare, mummy, DD AKA Amélie (a Scooby Doo fan) and DS AKA Johannes, Jo-Jo, Jo-boy (a Peppa Pig fan).

Amélie is looking forward to seeing the dragon under the castle, Johannes is looking forward to the fast train (TGV), Clare is looking forward to not cooking for 4 days or so

We're staying at the Cheyenne, we had originally booked for the Santa Fe then the 40% offers came out and I tried rebooking - same price but for £38.80 less book the Cheyenne! I called them twice but they wanted £80 cancellation fee so it would have cost me £40 more - I said I'd considered it and emailed them as well...Three days later an email upgrading us to the Cheyenne but with a catch - use the savings to purchase something else or pay an extra £13. They suggested a character breakfast for an extra £17 so we opted for that!! Mickey obviously loves a trier!

Johannes turns 3 while we're there so we're doing the character breakfast on his birthday - hopefully he'll be less timid of the characters by then :lmao:

We fly out on Sunday at 15:15 (Easy Jet) getting in around 18:30 then a TGV to Disney.

Our provisional plans are play it by ear when we arrive (the flights seem to be back on track!), food at either the Chuck Wagon or Annette's.

Monday breakfast at the Chuck Wagon, possibly pop into Salon Mickey, then lunch somewhere, food at either Annette's or Chuck Wagon (whichever we didn't do the night before).

First stop will be the Castle for Amélie's dragon! IASM - they ask for the song constantly in the car (track 46 on the CD player), Dumbo, the rail road, the steamboats, then play by ear.

Tuesday, character breakfast then off to the Studios, decide who's taking Amélie on the Tower of Terror - she's a thrill seeker! No real plans for the day, see some stuff, have some fun! Probably counter service for lunch, see how hungry we are at night.

Wednesday, back to the park, do some of the other bits we've missed, possibly a buffet lunch, tea somewhere nice!

Thursday, up early (our kids aren't early risers) for EMH, breakfast in the park if possible do some more and then a nice lunch, back to the hotel for 2pm for Ezyshuttle to take us home :-(

We'll probably do Panoramagique, a trip to the Rain Forest Cafe, beyond that, no real plans other than eat, stand in queues, multiple toilet stops, lots of ice cream (for me), collapse at the end of the night!

Only 7 days.....

Yeay it's ptr time :cool1:
and another yeay for not being the only nightprowling dis poster :cool1:

this time next week you'll be there :thumbsup2

your plan to "queue, toilet stop & eat icecream" seems just about as perfectly strategic as mine to "get in some new stuff" :)

have a great time Johnny boy, looking forward to your report , I've read your previous one and found it hysterical , especially your ds's take off procedure :rotfl:

enjoy! And take lots of photos!

Your trip sounds good, I think you can sometimes over plan, especially small trips and miss the all the good stuff that comes out of spontaneity.
Have a great trip! :cheer2:

Thanks but I'm not convinced you have the right person, I've not written a report before.

cheers

Only 6 more sleeps!! :yay:

Have a fantastic trip :goodvibes

We also have to listen to IASW in the car although it's track 11 on my CD! :lmao:

Well the kids are fast asleep so almost 5 :dance3:

Thanks for the good wishes mum to belle.

We have the whole Disney Greatest Hits Triple album and a load of ELC songs in AAC format on one disc in the car. I rarely get to listen to any of my music these days :lmao:

I found a couple of photos from last time:

Lovely photos! :goodvibes

DD is counting on fingers on toes now so we have two hands and four toes until we go to Disneyland! :yay:

Should I mention that IASW is on my CD and not DD's, no, probably not! :rotfl:

Lovely photos! :goodvibes

Thanks for that! The first photo was taken with their PJ's on as DW decided they were both messy eaters, actually DS still is - I'm sure 90% of his food ends up on the floor.

The middle one was the cowboy cookout, great food after the previous day's horrible hotdogs at Casey's.

We ended up buying the Minnie Dress and it still fits and is packed!

LOL! DD hasn't quite started the countdown yet, she still views the days of the week in terms of events - swimming (Tuesday), playgroup, ballet, Yoga Bugs etc.

Should I mention that IASW is on my CD and not DD's, no, probably not! :rotfl:

Glad I'm not the only one - I've caught myself singing some of the songs a lot more than I'm going to admit :scared1:

Hope you enjoy your holiday as much as we plan to - even if we just go on a fast train and see the dragon, I think the kids will be happy, anything else is a bonus!

Have a great trip. I'll be there the same time, so I hope we get dry weather & a chance to do everything we hope to and that there are no volcano eruptions to spoil any of our plans. Maybe we'll spot ourselves in eachothers photos!
