What is the difference.. like for instance we are doing ours at the lss so its all at the same place .. so am i correct to say the decor wouldn't be different right?!

A pre-reception is basically where your guests will eat appetizers and have some cocktails. Its usually for about an hour after the ceremony. Basically it is so that your guests have something to do while you are taking pics after the ceremony. I am not sure where they have it in LSS but I am assuming its in the same location as the reception. You could have it at another location but its usually somewhere near the reception location. If it is in the same location as the reception, you will probably not need additional decor.

Hopefully someone who had their reception in LSS can help you out with the location of the pre-reception.

We had our wedding at the LSS last January. When you walk in, there is an area there set up with a large banquet-type table - this is where the pre-reception/food is. The actual reception will be further down where the actual tables/seating is. It's kind of hard to describe. It's like a really long room, but it's segmented fairly well so the pre-reception and reception are in different areas. FWIW, we didn't get a chance to go to the pre-reception at all... I have only seen a few pics of it.

So - to answer your question - yes, the decor is the same. :)
