what do we think of no food at cocktail hour? my ceremony starts at 10, which means people will be picked up at 9-9:30ish from the resorts...then, our cocktail hour starts at 11, then my reception is from 12-3...the buffet for the reception is rather large...what do we think...

LOL I just posted in your PJ...

maybe just a couple of veggie/cheese/fruit platters to keep the guests occupied until the reception?

We think no food is fine, but that is because we are having the fruit platters that come with the buffet menu we chose served during our cocktail hour for FREE! ;)

Maybe you could do something similar?

We're doing something similar. They're letting us serve our fruit and cheese platters from the regular buffet during our cocktail hour since we're also having a morning wedding. Plus as lurkyloo said there's no additional cost!

Caryndisneydiva, I would ask your coordinator for his/her opinion. And if you're directly working with any of the Disney chefs, I would ask for their opinion, too. Those folks are usually spot-on when it comes to that kind of question.

Whenever I am waffling on a decision, I always ask the experts for help. They've never led me astray.
