Pre-purchasing parking

I know you can buy parking passes on the Disneyland website. I was leaning this way since I'll use my Target-discounted gift cards to do so. Is there any benefit or drawback to doing it this way? I haven't had the need to park onsite since about 2004!

I see no benefit to paying for parking online. There's no special entrance for "prepaid parking", so you'd still have to enter a lot by going to a booth to pick up a pass for the day. You can pay at the booth with your gift card.

This. I don't see any real time saving that will be gained by pre purchasing parking.
