The cast:
Disney Dad--Me, over planner, stressed out, middle aged, but darn it we're going to the world!
Disney Mom--Wife, already worried about the dog, commando style Disney girl
Disney Teen--Daughter, hand constantly out reaching for Dad's wallet, upset that she won't the the princess this trip
Disney Grandpa--Last time he was at Disneyland he used the "F" word...FUN.
Disney Grandma--Just wants to go back to the South and since there is a Disney park there why not
Disney Bro--Can't let the Disney Teen brag about the Rockin' Roller Coaster anymore, has to do it himself
Disney Sis-in-law--All over travelling...just do it is her motto
Disney Niece--Disney fanatic and HAS to ride Dumbo (25 billion dollars worth of ride and the only thing is Dumbo?)
Ok, so the trip is WAAAAAAAAAY in the future but as a card carrying member of the "Plan everything until you can't plan anymore" club there is planning to be done. This trip is scheduled for summer 2005 and like many Disney attractions on the drawing board its been brewing for a while.
So far, due to the experience of last year's trip, the plan is to stay at the CBR for about a week. We're gathering restuarant ideas and so far have decided that there is too much to eat at Disney and not enough time (ponders moving down there and working for the Mouse). Teppanyaki, 50s Prime Time are definite must do types and the other choices are France, England and Germany at Epcot. Whatever the choices I know it'll be good.
The worriers of the group are already deciding that each family will take a different airline down there. Don't ask me why. I think that filling a plane with our family is a great idea but then again maybe sharing the joy and money throughout the aviation industry is also a good idea.
I'll be posting sporadic pre-pre trip reports throughout the next 14 months and welcome any ideas for a large group taking on the World.
Watch out Mickey...the Tiggerules family is coming back.
