We did this for our last trip with the following offer:
http://www.disneyphotopass.com/previsitcdplan.aspx

And we were thinking about doing this again for our next trip in 2009.

We thought that if we were to preorder soon we could take advantage of the $99.99 offer, in case the price goes up in the next 18 months, but does anyone know if the offer / email code expires?

If we pre-ordered now, would it matter that we weren't going to by the CD itself for 18 months?

I know it's being a bit tight but hey, every penny counts!

i remember looking this up last year...and I'm pretty sure that if you read the fine print of the bottom of the offer...it says that the code is good until you actually use it.

So we should be able to pre-order now for any time in the future, correct?

Where do you find the code?
You pay $99.99 for the code (that's one expensive bit of text! :lmao:) basically, you purchase the pre-order at $99.99, then get sent an email that tells you you have pre-ordered and here is your personal code for when you want to redeem it for your Photopass CD.

Then, when you order your CD using the code, the normal full price gets reduced down for you at checkout.

I think this was pretty much how it worked, I can't remember now!

So...here's where I get confused:

You pre-order and pay the $99 at that time, get the code and when you actually order your cd, the code reduces the cost to $0 because you've already paid

OR

Do you pre-order the cd, get an email with the code and when you actually are ready to order the CD, use the code and have the cost reduced from $125 to $99.

Guess my ? is when do you actually pay the $99, now or when the physical CD is ordered?

Yup, you pay the $99 to get the code now. Then when you use it, the code brings the price to zero. If you absolutely hate the pictures that the Photopass Photographers take and decide you don't want the CD, there is a way to get your $$$ back.

Yes there is, but I THINK there is a time limit on refunds of so many days, honestly can't remember.
When you can have as many pictures as you can be bothered to have taken though, I would think there should be plenty you would want to keep!

is why I would question why someone going in 2009 would pay now. I totally understand that saving $25 is great, but, in essence, you are giving them $100 of your money to use for free for over a year

But we are in the UK and the dollar exchange rate is good at the moment, this offer may not be around in 09, and even if it is it may have gone up.
That's all I was thinking, but I probably won't do it for some time yet :thumbsup2

Hi i was just wondering how much the cd's were to buy in the parks? When we went in 2006 we bought the cd in Downtown Disney and it cost us about $100
Thanks:thumbsup2

Think it's $125...

Right so it's gone up quite a lot then .. thanks very much i better get preordering!!
Ooh another thing does anybody know ... Can i use the discount and buy the cd at the park? Or can i only use it when order from home?

Plus I think the shipping is free when you pre-order and you can add all those borders at home before ordering...
