Pre ordering food from My Experience?

I noticed on My Experience that you can pre order from some counter services restaurants.

How far in advance can you pre order? - 60 days, 30 days, a week, day before?

Which counter services restaurants can you pre order from?

From what I understand this service is available for most counter service locations in each park & 1 location at Disney Springs. You would submit your order as you arrive at the location. You have to pay by credit card, so no dining plan or gift cards can be used.
My friend just returned from her trip & LOVED this feature of the MDE ap. We were practicing together today instead of working, ssshhh!

We used it several times. Usually just ordered our food 15-30 minutes before we wanted to pick it up. With the long line at Satu'li Canteen, it was great to just hit the "we're here button" and get notified 5 minutes later our food was ready. The spooky part was walking through a park, by a QS restaurant and get a message on your phone that you could pre order food from that restaurant. Happened multiple times. They know where you are. . . .

We placed an order for one place in AK while we were on the bus to get there and hit the "I'm Here, Prepare" button as we were walking into the section...it was just being plated as we walked to the window...for quick service, THIS is the new best kept secret...even in the Pandora QS with a long order line, the Mobile Pick-up line was only 5 people long.

Is it wrong that I hope it stays secret and we can continue to enjoy being able to order and walk right up and sit down without a wait?

Let's all be evil together, because I'm with you on this. And I hope it stays with just credit card payments and no DDP, because that means fewer people using it

The only TRUE pre-order is Be Our Guest for breakfast and lunch where you can order 30 days to 5 minutes prior to your ADR. For all the rest it's mobile or advanced ordering where you order a few minutes before you arrive at the location and then press the I'm Here button when you're close.

Except in the case of BOG, mobile ordering is for day-of ordering. You will see all of the available QS and snack locations in the MDE app.
