Pre-ordering at BOG

We have a lunch reservation at the BOG in March. I've read that you can preorder on your phone or computer. How do you do this? Is it through MDE, or the website? I can't seem to find it.

Also, how far ahead can you do this?

I did it from the computer and website. I believe you can order 30 days out.

You order at 30 days out - I do it via computer. Log into your account, go to the My Disney Experience tab and scroll down to your Reservations. Click on that and find the BOG reservation - when your window for being able to order opens up, there will be a link to "Place Your Order" on the right side of the screen, next to the reservation. And you're not locked into what you order - you can modify up until the time you get to the restaurant.

You can do it via the website or the app I believe although I have only done it through the website.
Log in to your account and pull up your BOG ADR.
You can pre-order starting at 30 days out up until 5 minutes prior to checking in for your ADR.
When your 30 day window opens you'll see where it says pre-order and you can click on it.

You still get in the line to check in at the podium, verify your order, and pay for your meal. Then you go in and find a table.

Does your whole reservation have to do it advance or can just some do it? I have a reservation for 8 but half is another family and I'm. It sure if they will want to preorder or not...

I'm pretty sure everyone has to do pre order..I am not 100% on that though. You cannot split payment if you pre order though so just keep that in mind if people will be paying separately.

Instead of making a new thread I'll just ask my question here because it is about Be Our Guest and pre order- If I submit the order twice, will I be charged for two orders? Or just my most recent ordeR?

You won't be charged anything until you get up there and confirm your order and then pay. You can update your order as many times as you want to There's an option to change it.

You check in and they will ask if you have pre-ordered. You say yes and are then directed to walk up the left side of the bridge bypassing the most of the time long line to order at a kiosk.
You will then have your order confirmed and you'll pay.
Then you can go find a seat.

And definitely do not wait until the last minute to order. I tried for a month to preorder and my DH kept saying to wait. When we finally went to order the night before, the system was down. I checked all day up to our ADR and it would not submit so we had to stand in a long line. Next time we are ordering a month out!

I think 6.5% mostly everywhere and 7% at the All Stars??

We have an upcoming reservation, and the app isn't letting me preorder. I can cancel or modify the reservation, but that's about it. I think pre-order must be website only at the moment.
