Pre - Magic Kingdom Early Entry and Park Opening Strategy with G+ and ILLs + Tiana open with VQ and LL

7am Strategy
- Purchase Genie+ at least 30 minutes before 7am.
- Use at least two mobile devices connected to the same account (in my case one phone one tablet).
- Add to the Tip Board Tiana, Jungle Cruise, 7DMT, and Tron.
- At exactly 7am use one device to book Jungle Cruise LL and the other device to book Tiana VQ. I will play the G+slots for the Tiana LL (use thrill-data to determine best time to play). However, once may be enough for Tiana.
- After the above is done book 7DMT ILL first purchase, then Tron ILL second purchase.
- Will book Tron VQ at 1pm.

Early Entry Strategy (first 2-3 hours)
- Arrive at the park entrance 40-50 minutes before Early Entry begins.
- Head directly to the right side of the castle to wait for EE to start.
- Once EE starts walk briskly to Peter Pan first.
- Goal is to be done with Pan before park opening and be waiting near the entry area to Liberty Street/Haunted Mansion.
- Once park opens first attraction will be Haunted Mansion with no LL. Then Big Thunder Mountain with no LL.
- Then Magic Carpets no LL, Jungle Cruise LL, then Pirates LL or no LL depending on wait.
- The hope is that your Tiana VQ return will be early enough so that it lines up for when you are done with the above first.

Park Opening Strategy (first 2-3 hours)
- Arrive at the park entrance 40-50 minutes before Park Opening.
- Head directly to the Liberty Street entry area and wait for the park to open.
- Once park opens first attraction will be Haunted Mansion with no LL. Then Big Thunder Mountain with no LL.
- Then Magic Carpets no LL, Jungle Cruise LL, then Pirates LL or no LL depending on wait.
- The hope is that your Tiana VQ return will be early enough so that it lines up for when you are done with the above first.

This is just a pre-plan. It will probably change once Tiana opens. For example, I can easily see Big Thunder be busier at opening once Tiana opens. So maybe Thunder would be the first park opening attraction.
I will update this post once Tiana is open and I can see how things work out.

I will be following closely as our MK day is July 1st and wont have a lot of data to go off of. Our hope is to ride Tiana twice, once VG and once G+ and Tron once VQ and ILL. Its just really hard to figure out which VQ to go for first at 7AM and assuming you get one making sure it is used before the 1PM distribution. Also difficult to know how quickly Tiana G+ will sell out.

I have a similar strategy for mid July except we aren’t necessarily top dropping MO, and only half my family does “thrills” so I am buying the ILL for sure and hoping for VQ!

Every time I've tried to use the VQ at 7:00am it does not work for me because I'm not a resort guest. I haven't even be able to ride Gotg it's insane. What's the fastest way to get to Magic Kingdom if arriving by Uber/Lyft? Is there a secret entrance or one that is less traveled? When I go to Epcot I usually enter via the Boardwalk through the Swan and Dolphin hotel so when I get to the entrance I'm closest to France for the Ratatouille ride.

Your choices for Tiana will be VQ or Genie+ LL. There will be NO standby line. If you don't get the VQ and don't buy (or don't get) a Genie+ LL, you won't ride. Maybe the VQ and LL lines will be shorter early in the day, but being the first person in the park won't get you on the ride if you get shut out of the VQ and don't get a G+ LL.

There will be a standby line only after they end the VQ.

MK drop off for Uber/Lyft is only allowed at the TTC.

As shared above, there is no advantaged to arriving at the MK early as riding Tiana will be limited to VQ and those who purchase Genie+ and successfully book a LL for this attraction. There will not be a standby line.

Not related to TAB, but why haven’t you just purchased an ILL for GotG? We’ve been successful numerous times getting the VQ when we’ve stayed off-property, especially the 1pm drop.

We'll be there on the 28th - we have the four park ticket with one park per day (no repeats) and it was just dumb luck that our already planned trip begins with our arrival the evening of the 27th. We'll be staying on property and are thinking if we don't secure either the VQ or the lightning lane for Tiana's we might pivot at the last minute and do another park that day so we can try again on Saturday or Sunday. Fingers crossed my nimble-fingered kiddos will be successful!

Not related to TAB, but why haven’t you just purchased an ILL for GotG? We’ve been successful numerous times getting the VQ when we’ve stayed off-property, especially the 1pm drop.

When i purchased genie and had a reservation for epcot I tried at 7:00am and it didn't allow me to do so. I was able to purchase an ILL for Tron but not Gotg. I'm not sure if I'm not doing it correctly or I'm missing something. I think I will try to get the VQ for Tiana's. I was going to be in the park rope drop early but if I don't need to I will get there after park opening. In order to get the 1pm drop you need 1. reservation and 2. refresh at 1:00pm for the VQ? Or did you via the tip page?

Were you staying onsite or offsite? Based on your prior post, I thought you always stayed offsite. Those staying offsite cannot buy ILLs until park opening. That would explain why you couldn't buy an ILL for Guardians at 7:00. And sometimes ILLs for Guardians (and Tron) sell out before the parks open. However, I don't understand how you could buy an ILL for Tron at 7:00 if staying offsite.

MK drop off for Uber/Lyft is only allowed at the TTC.

As shared above, there is no advantaged to arriving at the MK early as riding Tiana will be limited to VQ and those who purchase Genie+ and successfully book a LL for this attraction. There will not be a standby line.

Regular Lyft may use the TTC for pick ups and drop offs, but I believe Minnie Vans "Connected by Lyft" have a drop off and pick up point near the MK park entrance. (I haven't used it, but have seen reports from reliable sources.) So, that could be an option for someone willing to pay to get there fast. It won't help for Tiana, but can help for other attractions.
